Raya 2025 became an unforgettable celebration for two lucky shoppers as they each drove home a brand-new Proton S70 Premium, thanks to the MyDebit Syiokkk Raya Contest organised by Lotus’s Malaysia and Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet).
The contest, which ran from 13 February to 30 April 2025, was part of Lotus’s broader ‘Senyuman Paling Bernilai’ Ramadan-Raya campaign — a festive effort designed to reward customers while encouraging the use of digital payments during the busy holiday season.
Two Grand Prize Winners Take the Spotlight
Among the thousands of entries, two names stood out — Maizatul Akma Mazlan, a casual shopper, and Kwong Joon @ Kong Joon, a loyal My Lotus’s member who impressively clocked 324 shopping visits over the two-month period.
Both were announced as the Grand Prize Winners, each taking home a brand-new Proton S70 Premium, a car worth up to RM80,000. The keys to their new rides were handed over during a special ceremony held at Lotus’s Head Office in Kepong.
Over 2,600 Winners and RM470,000 Worth of Prizes
The MyDebit Syiokkk Raya campaign drew strong participation with over 26,500 qualifying transactions. All it took to enter was to spend a minimum of RM100 using a MyDebit card at Lotus’s stores.
Here’s a breakdown of the prizes that were up for grabs:
- 🏆 2 Grand Prizes – Proton S70 Premium cars
- 💸 120 Monthly Prizes – RM500 Duit Raya cash rewards
- 🎁 2,500 Weekly Prizes – RM100 Lotus’s e-vouchers
A total of 2,622 winners took home prizes valued at over RM470,000, making this one of the most successful festive contests held by Lotus’s Malaysia in recent years.
Driving Digital Transformation in Retail
According to Nuathip Pituckpongsatorn, Customer and Marketing Executive Director at Lotus’s Malaysia, the campaign successfully promoted cashless transactions, with over 60% of customer payments now made digitally.
“The integration of DuitNow QR since November 2024 continues to enhance our cashless ecosystem and supports Malaysia’s larger digital transformation goals,”.
Lotus’s sees digital payments not just as a convenience, but as part of its commitment to delivering better value and a safer shopping experience for all Malaysians.
PayNet’s Role in Malaysia’s Cashless Evolution
For PayNet, the campaign was more than just a contest – it was a strategic initiative to foster digital adoption. The MyDebit Syiokkk Raya contest marks the seventh collaboration between PayNet and Lotus’s Malaysia since 2022.
According to Azrul Fakhzan Mainor, Senior Director of Commercial at PayNet, the ongoing partnership has helped convert over 30% of cash-based transactions into digital payments in the last three years.
“These collaborations aren’t just about short-term engagement — they create long-term shifts in how Malaysians shop and pay,” he said. “We are proud to partner with Lotus’s Malaysia in building a safer, faster, and more inclusive payment ecosystem.”
PayNet reaffirmed its strategic partnership with Lotus’s through 2026, aiming to expand MyDebit and DuitNow QR acceptance even further in the coming year.
Beyond the attractive prizes, the MyDebit Syiokkk Raya 2025 campaign served a higher purpose: promoting secure, seamless and convenient cashless payments in everyday transactions.
The campaign was a win-win for everyone involved — customers were rewarded, Lotus’s advanced its digitalisation agenda, and PayNet continued its mission of building financial inclusion through technology.
The sight of two beaming winners holding keys to their brand-new Proton S70 Premium vehicles is proof that Raya dreams do come true — especially when digital innovation meets festive generosity.
