Samsung One UI 8 Brings Smarter AI to More Devices

Samsung Electronics has officially announced that its highly anticipated One UI 8 beta program will be expanding to a wider range of Galaxy devices starting next week.

This move comes after the update’s initial launch with the Galaxy S25 series in May 2025, and it promises to bring a smarter, more intuitive smartphone experience to millions of users worldwide.

Beginning next week, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 owners in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India will be able to register for the beta through the Samsung Members app.

The rollout will continue in September, adding even more devices to the list, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54.

Smarter AI and Multimodal Capabilities

One UI 8 is designed to enhance Galaxy devices with advanced multimodal capabilities, enabling them to better understand users’ real-time context and respond in more natural, human-like ways.

This update also builds on Galaxy AI, Samsung’s intelligent assistant, making everyday tasks faster and more seamless.

When paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro, users can activate Google’s Gemini simply by using voice commands or by long-pressing either earbud. This deeper integration between hardware and software means users can get more done without needing to pick up their phones.

Samsung has tailored One UI 8 to work across its diverse range of devices—from flagship smartphones to foldables—ensuring the experience feels consistent yet optimized for each form factor.

Beta Testing and Feedback

The One UI 8 beta program isn’t just about early access—it’s also an opportunity for Samsung to gather valuable feedback from its user community. This feedback will play a vital role in fine-tuning the final release, ensuring that the official One UI 8 update is polished and user-friendly.

Samsung has confirmed that the official rollout will begin in September with the Galaxy S25 series, followed by a sequential release to all eligible devices.

One UI 8 Watch: Expanding to More Galaxy Watches

It’s not just smartphones getting the upgrade—Samsung has also confirmed that One UI 8 Watch will expand to more Galaxy Watch models later this year.

This updated smartwatch interface will bring motivational health features, improved navigation, and a more refined design, starting with the Galaxy Watch8 series and expanding to earlier models.

Exclusive Galaxy Z Series Promotions

In addition to the software news, Samsung is running a limited-time promotion for its Galaxy Z Series devices until 31 August 2025. Customers can enjoy rebates and bonuses worth up to RM2,209 on devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

These perks include double storage upgrades, Samsung Care+, trade-in rebates, and exclusive online color options like Mint.

Samsung is also offering special promotions on its latest Galaxy Watch lineup, including the Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, and the premium Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Buyers can enjoy free accessories like fabric or sport bands, Galaxy SmartTag2, and trade-in rebates of up to RM200.

Why One UI 8 Matters?

The release of One UI 8 represents more than just a routine software update. It’s part of Samsung’s broader vision to integrate AI seamlessly into its devices, making them more personal, predictive, and proactive.

By expanding the beta to older models, Samsung ensures that innovation isn’t limited to those who buy the newest phones—it’s available to a wider Galaxy community.

With features that anticipate user needs, improved AI integration, and cross-device synergy, One UI 8 could redefine the way Galaxy devices fit into everyday life.

Whether you’re a productivity power user, a creative multitasker, or someone who simply wants a smoother mobile experience, One UI 8 has something for you.

Samsung’s decision to open up the One UI 8 beta to more devices highlights its commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to a broad user base. As the official launch approaches, Galaxy users worldwide can look forward to a smarter, more personalized mobile experience—powered by AI and shaped by community feedback.
