The main highlight of the crossover is the arrival of Castor Woods, a spooky new area appearing in both Erangel and Livik maps. Within its eerie structure lurk three terrifying zombie types from Dying Light: The Beast:
- Biters – Slow-moving but dangerous in numbers.
- Virals – Fast, aggressive, and capable of rapid attacks when nearby.
- Chargers – The toughest of the bunch, boasting massive health and deadly tackle and charge attacks.
Players who manage to clear out the zombies will unlock a safe zone upstairs, where they can loot special items such as the Baseball Bat and the Genome Synthetic Booster syringe.
Injecting the syringe activates Beast Mode, granting enhanced mobility, reduced damage intake, and the ability to perform the devastating Aerial Smash attack — turning hunters into the hunted.
More Challenges Await in Metro Royale and WOW Mode
The collaboration also extends into Metro Royale, maintaining the same zombie-themed mechanics. However, in this mode, the Genome Synthetic Booster becomes a valuable item that players can sell after successful extraction, adding a strategic twist for those chasing both survival and profit.
Meanwhile, WOW Mode (running from October 20 to December 20) will feature five zombie variants, including new types of Biters and the formidable Charger.
A dedicated crossover map inspired by Dying Light: The Beast awaits, offering players a chance to explore and battle through an environment that perfectly blends horror with PUBG MOBILE’s trademark action.
This update follows the recent release of World of Wonder 1.0 in PUBG MOBILE Version 4.0, which expanded creative tools for players to design and share their own gameplay experiences.

From now until November 4, PUBG MOBILE fans can take part in a special themed event featuring missions and limited-edition rewards. Players who complete event objectives will earn items such as the Dying Light: The Beast Avatar, Avatar Frame, and the Dying Light: The Beast Set, featuring Kyle Crane’s iconic outfit.
On the flip side, Dying Light: The Beast players will also enjoy crossover content on their end, including a side quest and new open-world activities. Completing these missions will unlock exclusive collaboration gear — such as a Kyle Crane outfit, vehicle skin, baseball bat, frying pan, and charm, all showcasing the joint PUBG MOBILE x Dying Light branding.
