Dive into the Frost Festival in PUBG MOBILE Version 4.1

the Frost Festival in PUBG MOBILE

PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s leading mobile games, has officially launched its Version 4.1 Update, transforming the battleground into a winter wonderland filled with snow-themed events, adorable penguins, and exciting gameplay improvements.

Running until January 5, 2026, the update introduces the highly anticipated Frost Festival and themed mode Frosty Funland, alongside major enhancements in Classic Mode, Metro Royale, Home Mode, and World of Wonder (WOW).

Step into Frosty Funland: The Heart of the Frost Festival

At the centre of this update is Frosty Funland, an all-new mode that brings players into Penguinville, a bustling snow metropolis built by clever penguins who migrated from their melting homeland.

This mode is filled with vibrant locations, mini-events, and playful NPCs—including the Ninja Penguin PowNin, the first-ever AI Penguin companion in PUBG MOBILE.

PowNin can follow commands via voice or text and aids players in combat using shuriken attacks and ninja-style dodges.

Players can also join the Frosty Funland Themed Trial, a festive 4-player mission that rewards teamwork and coordination. Completing the challenge unlocks a special celebration sequence and exclusive achievements.

A Festival for a Cause

Starting December 12, the Frost Festival Event invites players to explore Wintercrest Hall in Snowy Vale, where festive tunes and supply rewards await. Across Erangel and Livik, snow and decorations cover familiar landscapes, and vehicles play holiday music through Winter Vehicle Speakers.

In an inspiring move, PUBG MOBILE is also giving back—the Frosty Funland Charity Campaign encourages players to help penguin NPCs and clean up oil spills. When the global milestone is achieved, the game will donate USD 100,000 toward penguin conservation in South Africa and South America. Every participant will receive a digital charity certificate as proof of their impact.

Celebrate Esports with PMGC 2025

The excitement continues in Classic Mode, now infused with PMGC 2025 visuals and in-game areas. Players can visit the PMGC Venue in Erangel and Livik, interact with photo spots, and earn exclusive rewards like the Champion Pack and Crown of Glory, which restores health and energy for teammates.

The update also introduces realistic firearm adjustments, enhanced sound effects, and a new Boatyard area in Erangel packed with resources. A Loot Truck System now offers dynamic opportunities for players to obtain valuable supplies based on how much damage the truck takes.

Cycle 9 Season 27 and Arena Upgrades

Version 4.1 kicks off Cycle 9 Season 27, which brings refreshed tier rewards and new gameplay systems across Classic, Casual, and Ultimate Royale.

The Ranked Arena Event—running from November 27, 2025, to January 1, 2026—features intense modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Assault. The top 1,000 players in each region will earn an exclusive title and season-tier rewards.

Fans can also look forward to the return of Crazy Chicken Day, where players can enjoy bonus rating protection, double earnings, and Lucky Chicken Mate missions for in-game prizes and cash rewards.

Metro Royale and Home Mode Enhancements

In Metro Royale Chapter 29, new Snow Crates appear randomly on maps, giving players access to valuable loot. The Command Post now offers improved gifting systems, and 1v1 Metro Royale matches come with new customization options.

Meanwhile, Home Mode receives a charming holiday upgrade with the introduction of Polar Wonderland and Esports Room Home Styles. Players can enjoy new interactive furniture such as the Slide, Merry-Go-Round, and Electric Guitar, while Parking Lot gameplay returns with new rewards and a Polar Wonderland Craftsman’s Pass.

The Hub has also transformed into a festive gathering place filled with mini-games and emotes—perfect for celebrating the season with friends.

Expanding Creativity in World of Wonder

The World of Wonder (WOW) system gets one of its biggest upgrades yet. The Resource Center allows creators to design custom maps using shared prefabs, vehicles, and objects.

Players can enjoy new tools like the Armamech Battle Form, Magic Ice Skates, and Firework Launcher, adding excitement and creativity to every match.

Improved mission editors now let creators customize missions and rewards directly within their worlds, while enhanced visual programming tools simplify complex designs.

The return of the WOW Pass and new community events encourage creators to compete for cash prizes and exclusive rewards, strengthening PUBG MOBILE’s creator ecosystem.

What’s Next: Big Collaborations Ahead

The future looks bright for PUBG MOBILE players, as the developers teased upcoming collaborations with a luxury fashion brand, a world-class automobile company, and the much-awaited return of a global K-pop superstar.

These partnerships are expected to roll out in the coming months, blending gaming, fashion, and entertainment in true PUBG MOBILE style.

PUBG MOBILE’s Version 4.1 Frost Festival Update is more than just a seasonal refresh—it’s a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and global connection.

From playful penguins to enhanced gameplay and charitable impact, this update delivers something for everyone. Whether you’re teaming up for the Frosty Funland trials, perfecting your aim in Classic Mode, or building new experiences in World of Wonder, the battleground has never been cooler.
