MClean Technologies Berhad (“MClean Technologies” or the “Company”), an established provider of precision cleaning and surface treatment solutions, has delivered another resilient set of results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2025 (“Q3 FY2025”), showcasing 190.97% Profit Before Tax (“PBT”) growth compared to the corresponding year’s quarter (“Q3 FY2024”).
For Q3 FY2025, the Company recorded revenue of RM17.12 million, a 5.26% increase compared to RM16.27 million in the corresponding quarter (“Q3 FY2024”).
The stronger topline was driven by increased activity across both precision cleaning and surface treatment segments. This translated into a higher gross profit of RM6.98 million, up 33.59% from RM5.23 million previously, reflecting meaningful improvements in operational efficiency and cost discipline.
Profit before tax (“PBT”) surged to RM3.06 million, representing a 190.97% year-on-year increase from RM1.05 million. Profit after tax (“PAT”) mirrored this performance, rising to RM3.06 million from RM1.05 million a year ago.
The improvement was supported by better cost of sales management, stronger margins and stable administrative expenses.
For the nine months ended 30 September 2025 (“9M FY2025”), the Group achieved RM49.20 million in revenue, up 9.48% year-on-year from RM44.94 million recorded in the previous corresponding period.
Gross profit rose to RM18.81 million, a 42.20% increase, while PBT expanded sharply to RM9.11 million compared to RM2.39 million in 9M FY2024. This performance was partly supported by the contribution from the newly acquired plastic injection moulding business, We Total Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“WTE”), which boosted other income during the period.
Quarter-on-quarter, revenue eased marginally by 2.76% against RM17.61 million in Q2 FY2025, largely due to softer demand during the quarter. Despite the slight topline dip, gross profit improved to RM6.98 million from RM6.74 million, with gross profit margin rising to 40.79% versus 38.28% previously.
This was driven by enhanced cost efficiencies across both business divisions. PBT improved slightly from RM3.01 million in Q2 FY2025 to RM3.06 million in Q3 FY2025, and PAT rose by 6.73% quarter-on-quarter to RM3.06 million.
MClean Technologies’ performance continues to be underpinned by sustained demand from the Hard Disk Drive (“HDD”) and consumer electronics sectors, both of which remain driven by structural digitalisation trends, increasing storage requirements, and growing data centre investments.
The Company’s capabilities in precision cleaning and surface treatment continue to position it as a reliable partner within these critical supply chains.
Dato Dr. Terence Tea Yeok Kian, Executive Chairman and Executive Director of MClean Technologies remarked,
“Our Q3 FY2025 results demonstrate the consistency of our performance and the strength of our operating model. The ongoing improvements in gross margins and cost efficiencies, combined with sustained customer demand, have enabled us to deliver strong, profitable growth once again.
The capabilities of MClean Plastic have further enhanced our value proposition within the industry, especially in supporting demand for precision cleaning services.
Looking ahead, we are optimistic as we enter the next phase of growth. Our expansion plans, particularly the new HDD plating business, the increased production capacity in Thailand, and the upcoming cleaning facility in Johor Bahru, will strengthen our regional footprint.
We also anticipate new orders in the plastic injection moulding segment, which will deepen our involvement across the HDD supply chain. These initiatives set a solid foundation for continued earnings growth in 2026 and beyond.”
MClean Technologies will continue reinforcing operational efficiency, expanding its capacity, and exploring synergistic opportunities within the HDD, consumer electronics and adjacent manufacturing segments.
The Group remains committed to delivering sustainable long-term value to its shareholders as demand trends in digitalisation and storage infrastructure continue to shape industry dynamics.
