Malaysia’s vision of intelligent urban living took a major step forward as I-Berhad officially opened the AI World Experience Centre at i-City, marking the first physical public activation of AI World, the country’s first artificial intelligence-enabled urban precinct.
The launch signals a transformative moment in how artificial intelligence and robotics are positioned within everyday city life, ahead of AI World’s official inauguration in January 2026.
Located at the i-City Sales Gallery, the AI World Experience Centre is a large-scale immersive showcase designed to bring artificial intelligence to life through real-world interaction.
Developed in collaboration with AGIBOT, one of the world’s leading humanoid robotics companies, the centre features an impressive 100 humanoid robots, offering visitors a glimpse into how AI will be embedded across future residential, commercial, wellness, and lifestyle environments within i-City.
According to Dato’ Eu Hong Chew, Director of I-Berhad, the Experience Centre aims to bridge the gap between abstract technology and everyday understanding.

Visitors—particularly students and young learners—are invited to engage with artificial intelligence through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, and hands-on encounters with humanoid robotics.
Rather than relying on traditional classroom-based instruction, the centre focuses on discovery-driven learning, helping visitors develop curiosity, critical thinking, and awareness of how AI and robotics will shape future industries and career pathways.

The opening of the AI World Experience Centre represents the first tangible milestone in the rollout of AI World, a key component of I-Berhad’s approximately RM5 billion remaining gross development value (GDV) within i-City.
The broader AI World precinct is envisioned as a fully integrated ecosystem that combines AI-centric commercial spaces, residential living, and wellness concepts, reinforcing i-City’s status as Malaysia’s No.1 Digital City.
Through this initiative, I-Berhad is positioning itself beyond traditional property development, evolving into a technology-enabled urban platform that prioritises intelligent systems, automation, and future-ready city planning.
Robotics-as-a-Service and Smart Operations
Beyond the experiential showcase, I-Berhad is also advancing its plans to deploy Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) across its RM1 billion investment property portfolio. This initiative will integrate AI-driven automation into property management, hospitality services, lifestyle operations, and asset maintenance.
The adoption of RaaS is expected to enhance operational efficiency, elevate user experiences, and create scalable recurring income streams beyond conventional property cycles—further strengthening i-City’s reputation as Malaysia’s premier digital city.

The AI World Experience Centre is now open to the public in preview mode, with expanded exhibits and programmes planned in future phases. The official launch of AI World is scheduled for 13 January 2026, marking a flagship initiative in Malaysia’s digital transformation journey.
