Samsung Electronics has officially concluded the 2025 Odyssey Cup Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Championship, bringing together some of the best esports talent from across Southeast Asia and Oceania for an electrifying regional showdown.

The prestigious Grand Finals took place from 12–14 December 2025 at EBN Esports City, Quill City Mall in Kuala Lumpur, drawing fans, media, and influencers for a thrilling in-person spectacle.

Featuring eight finalist teams representing different markets in the region, the tournament offered a substantial US$50,000 total prize pool, setting the stage for intense, high-level competition. Over three days of action-packed matches, teams battled it out in Counter-Strike 2, showcasing tactical precision, teamwork, and lightning-fast reflexes.

SemperFi Esports Claims the Title

Emerging victorious was SemperFi Esports from Australia, who secured the championship title after defeating Deep Cross Gaming from Indonesia in a gripping Grand Final clash. Their triumph earned them the US$20,000 grand prize, cementing their place as one of the region’s top CS2 squads.

A standout performance came from Kristers Darznieks of SemperFi Esports, who was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). His consistent impact and clutch plays throughout the event earned him an additional US$2,000 award.

Meanwhile, Beyman Esports from Malaysia and Ground Zero Gaming from Australia rounded out the leaderboard, finishing in third and fourth place respectively.
