Muslim Pro Launches “Ramadan Re:Charge” to Support Consistent Faith Practice

Muslim Pro Launches Ramadan ReCharge

As Ramadan approaches, Muslim Pro, one of the world’s most widely used Muslim lifestyle apps, has introduced a new initiative called “Ramadan Re:Charge” aimed at supporting Muslims in maintaining consistent and meaningful faith practices throughout the holy month.

The initiative is built around a reality many Muslims can relate to. While intentions are often strong at the beginning of Ramadan, sustaining that spiritual momentum can become challenging as fatigue and daily responsibilities set in. Ramadan Re:Charge acknowledges this lived experience and responds with tools, content and community support designed to fit naturally into modern life.

According to Nafees Khundker, Group Managing Director & CEO of Muslim Pro, the initiative is not about questioning people’s intentions, but about recognising the practical challenges they face.

He shared that many Muslims are balancing work, family and everyday commitments, making it harder to maintain the same rhythm of worship every day. Ramadan Re:Charge is therefore designed as a supportive companion rather than a prescriptive guide — helping users stay connected to their faith without pressure, comparison or unrealistic expectations.

Consistency Over Perfection

Instead of promoting idealised routines, Ramadan Re:Charge focuses on continuity and presence in worship, even in small, manageable ways. Muslim Pro brings together a range of faith tools, reflective content and community-driven experiences that can adapt to different personal schedules and spiritual rhythms.

At the heart of the Ramadan experience is the Quran, one of the most used features within the Muslim Pro app during the holy month. The Quran feature is designed to encourage intentional and consistent engagement, allowing users to read, listen, reflect or memorise at their own pace.

Features such as personalised Khatam goals, verse bookmarks, audio recitations and reflection tools help users stay connected to the Quran without feeling pressured to meet rigid daily targets. This flexible approach recognises that spiritual engagement may look different from day to day.

Accessible Ramadan Content Through Qalbox

As part of its broader Ramadan offering, Qalbox, the streaming platform within the Muslim Pro app, will present a curated lineup of reflective and faith-inspired content. This year, Muslim Pro is exploring new formats, especially micro-series — short, episodic stories that fit easily into daily routines.

In Malaysia, this includes the locally produced micro-series Light of Transit, alongside longer reflective works such as The Olive Tree That Remembered, developed in collaboration with Restu Foundation.
Together, these titles reflect Muslim Pro’s intention to balance depth and accessibility, making faith-based storytelling more adaptable to modern lifestyles.

Strengthening Community Connections

Community engagement also plays a central role in Ramadan Re:Charge. Throughout the month, Muslim Pro’s social space, Ummah, will host a global photo-sharing contest encouraging users to capture and share everyday Ramadan moments — simple, personal and meaningful.

Ten winners will be selected to receive Badal Umrah prizes, enabling them to honour loved ones through an act of worship performed on their behalf. This initiative bridges digital participation with deeply meaningful spiritual experiences.

Malaysia Remains a Key Market

Malaysia continues to be one of Muslim Pro’s most important and engaged markets, with over one million active users locally. During Ramadan, the in-app experience will be shaped around the Ramadan Re:Charge narrative, integrating faith tools, content and community features under one cohesive theme.

Ultimately, Ramadan Re:Charge reflects Muslim Pro’s understanding of how faith is practised in today’s world — not in isolation from daily life, but alongside it. By focusing on realistic support rather than perfection, Muslim Pro positions itself as a digital companion for the spiritual journey of Ramadan.

Ramadan may come with challenges, but with the right tools and gentle encouragement, staying connected to faith can feel more sustainable — one day at a time.
