Panasonic Beauty has taken hair care beyond everyday styling with the global debut of two premium beauty innovations at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2026.
Making their world premiere in Malaysia, the new Panasonic nanocare Hair Dryer EH-NB70 and nanocare Hair Straightener EH-HN30 were unveiled on the runway alongside the latest collection by renowned Malaysian designer Min Luna.
The launch brings together three increasingly important elements of modern beauty routines: technology, hair health and personal expression. Rather than positioning hair styling tools purely around achieving a particular look, Panasonic Beauty is focusing on technologies designed to support healthier-looking hair and scalp care as part of everyday routines.

According to Panasonic Malaysia Managing Director Keisuke Nishida, the latest products reflect the company’s commitment to developing premium innovations that can enhance everyday life.

That philosophy is reflected in both the EH-NB70 and EH-HN30, which combine Panasonic’s Japanese beauty technology with research into hair and scalp care.
EH-NB70: More Than Just a Hair Dryer
The standout feature of the Panasonic nanocare Hair Dryer EH-NB70 is its focus on scalp care.
Panasonic describes the product as “Not Just a Hair Dryer. A Scalp Treatment.” The idea is that drying hair should not simply be about removing moisture as quickly as possible. Instead, the process can also become an opportunity to care for the scalp and hair.
The EH-NB70 is Panasonic’s most compact nanocare hair dryer yet and features the latest nanoe™ MOISTURE+ technology, which generates 18 times more moisture than conventional nanoe™.
The technology is designed to deliver moisture to both hair and scalp while helping to manage excess sebum. Panasonic’s research found that regular use increased scalp moisture levels by approximately 20% after four weeks.
The company also reported that 70% of women experienced improvements in dandruff and 90% reported improvements in scalp itchiness during its research.
In addition, the technology can help reduce scalp sebum by up to 50%, creating a healthier scalp environment.
Panasonic also cited research conducted with a local university, which demonstrated a 19% increase in hair counts after eight weeks of regular use by maintaining scalp health and protecting newly grown hair.
Designed Around Scalp and Hair Care
The EH-NB70 comes with a dedicated Scalp Mode, providing gentle drying specifically for the scalp. It also features a Skin Mode, which delivers moisture to facial skin and can be incorporated into a post-bath skincare routine.
Another important feature is intelligent temperature sensing, designed to help minimise heat damage during drying.
Despite its compact size, the EH-NB70 is powered by a high-speed BLDC motor, providing fast and tangle-free drying. This means users do not necessarily have to choose between drying performance and hair care.
The dryer will be available in Amber Black and Sheer Beige, giving it a premium aesthetic that fits naturally into modern beauty spaces.
EH-HN30: Style with Moisture
Alongside the hair dryer, Panasonic Beauty also introduced the nanocare Hair Straightener EH-HN30.
Built around the concept “Style with Moisture. A New Way to Shine,” the EH-HN30 is designed to maintain hair’s natural moisture while delivering smooth styling results.
The straightener uses Panasonic’s nanoe™ technology to help prevent hair from becoming excessively dry during styling.
At the centre of the device is Panasonic’s proprietary 3D Smooth Plate technology, which is designed to capture hair strands evenly and provide a smoother glide from root to tip.
The EH-HN30 also features a high-performance Ceramic Heater that distributes heat evenly across the plates. This allows users to achieve their desired hairstyle at lower temperature settings, helping to reduce friction and minimise heat damage.
The result is intended to be sleek, shiny and healthier-looking hair without relying on excessive heat.
One Tool, Multiple Hairstyles
The EH-HN30 is not limited to straight hairstyles. Its design allows users to create both sleek, straight looks and soft curls using the same styling tool.
For frequent travellers, the straightener also comes with universal voltage support from 100-240V, making it suitable for use in different countries.

Price and Availability in Malaysia
For Malaysian consumers interested in upgrading their hair care routine, both products will be available nationwide from early September 2026.
The Panasonic nanocare Hair Dryer EH-NB70 will retail at RM1,399, while the nanocare Hair Straightener EH-HN30 will be priced at RM699.
Both products will be available through Panasonic brand stores, authorised dealers and the Panasonic Official Store on major e-commerce platforms.
