Paramount Cup 2026 Returns Bigger with Over RM110,000 Pickleball Prize Pool
Pickleball continues to gain momentum in Malaysia, and the Paramount Cup 2026 is set to take the sport to another level with a bigger tournament, more participants, expanded youth categories and a stronger community-driven purpose.
Following the success of its inaugural edition last year, Paramount Property has officially launched the second edition of Paramount Cup, which will take place from 22 to 25 October 2026 at PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang.
The tournament is expected to attract more than 900 participants, while offering a prize pool of over RM110,000, making it one of Malaysia’s largest pickleball tournaments in terms of prize money.
More Opportunities for Young Pickleball Players

One of the biggest highlights of Paramount Cup 2026 is the introduction of eight new junior competition categories, giving younger players more opportunities to compete and develop their skills.
The new categories include U10 Co-ed Singles and Doubles, U12 Co-ed Singles and Doubles, U14 Co-ed Singles and Doubles, as well as U16 Boys Singles and Boys Doubles.
The expansion reflects Paramount Property’s efforts to make pickleball more accessible to the younger generation while encouraging healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and community participation.
With pickleball becoming increasingly popular among Malaysians of different ages, the introduction of dedicated junior categories could also help nurture the next generation of local players.
Pickleball with a Purpose
Paramount Cup 2026 is not just about competition and winning medals. This year’s tournament also places a stronger emphasis on giving back to the community.
For every participant who registers, PLAYA will donate RM5 from each registration fee to the Shelter Home for Children, with Paramount Property matching the contribution ringgit for ringgit.
This means every registration will contribute towards a meaningful social cause, allowing participants to become part of a wider community effort simply by taking part in the tournament.
Beyond the courts, visitors can also look forward to a three-day bazaar featuring food, activities and family-friendly entertainment, creating a more vibrant atmosphere throughout the tournament weekend.
A Pathway to the International Stage
Another major milestone for Paramount Cup 2026 is its official recognition as an APP Asia qualifying stop.
Through PLAYA Racquet Club’s collaboration with the Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP), the tournament will provide Malaysian players with a potential pathway towards competing at the international level.
For participants, this means Paramount Cup is about more than simply collecting medals or competing for prize money. Strong performances could provide players with an opportunity to qualify for the wider APP tour.
The development is particularly significant for Malaysia’s growing pickleball community, as local players now have another platform to test themselves against higher levels of competition.
PLAYA Racquet Club Returns as Venue Partner
PLAYA Racquet Club will once again serve as the tournament’s Venue Partner after successfully hosting the inaugural Paramount Cup in 2025.
Located at PARC Subang, PLAYA is designed as a lifestyle-focused racquet destination, featuring nine indoor courts and 14 outdoor and covered courts, alongside dining, retail and family-friendly facilities.
The venue provides a suitable setting for a tournament that aims to bring together professional and recreational players, families and spectators.
Paramount Property Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer Beh Chun Chong said the tournament reflects the company’s commitment to creating places where people can live well, stay active and build meaningful connections.
Open to Different Skill Levels
Paramount Cup 2026 will feature singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team formats across different age groups and skill levels.
The tournament will also be overseen by a PPA-certified Tournament Director, helping ensure international standards in officiating, competition management and player experience.
This makes the event accessible to a broad range of participants, from first-time competitors looking to experience tournament play to experienced players aiming for a stronger competitive challenge.
Registration and Early Bird Offers
Registration for Paramount Cup 2026 opened on 15 August 2026, with an early bird promotion offering 15% off standard entry fees until 5 September 2026.
Adult categories are priced at RM360 per team or RM200 for Open Singles. Junior participants can enter Singles at RM150 or Doubles at RM300.
With more than 900 participants expected, a prize pool exceeding RM110,000, new junior categories and an APP Asia qualifying pathway, Paramount Cup 2026 is shaping up to be much more than another pickleball tournament.
It represents the continued growth of pickleball in Malaysia while bringing sport, community, family experiences and social impact together on one court.
