Bintai Kinden Secures RM25.2 Million Contract from IED Construction

Bintai Kinden Corporation Berhad

Bintai Kinden Corporation Berhad (“BKCB” or the “Company”; Bursa: BINTAI, 6998), a mechanical and electrical (“M&E”) engineering services specialist, construction, medical device manufacturer and facilities operator, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn. Bhd. (“KBK”), has secured a RM25.20 million contract from IED Construction Sdn. Bhd. for the Main Building Works of eight (8) factory units located at Golden Valley Hi-Tech Park, Kulai, Johor for Golden Valley Capital Sdn. Bhd.

Golden Valley Hi-Tech Park is a fast-developing industrial hub strategically located in Kulai, Johor, designed to cater to advanced manufacturing, logistics, and technology-driven enterprises with close proximity to data centres.

The park is part of Johor’s broader industrial expansion corridor, benefiting from strong connectivity via the North–South Expressway, Senai International Airport, and proximity to Iskandar Malaysia’s economic zones.

Its integrated master plan supports sustainable industrial growth and the co-location of high-value industries, aligning with Malaysia’s push toward high-tech and green manufacturing ecosystems.

The sub-contract, which was officially awarded on 16 October 2025, marks another milestone for Bintai Kinden as it expands its footprint into Malaysia’s fast-growing southern region.

The project is scheduled for a five-month construction period, with work commencement to begin upon completion of piling works and submission of the Engineering Consultation Certificate (“ECC”) and as-built drawings. The project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.

This contract award reflects the Group’s successful diversification into the construction segment, following the implementation of its strategic turnaround and regularisation plan earlier this year.

The newly secured project is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings over the next two quarters, reinforcing operational momentum and strengthening cash flow visibility.

As we move forward, Bintai Kinden remains committed to delivering projects efficiently, while capitalising on the rising demand for quality industrial facilities in key growth regions across Malaysia.”

Looking ahead, Bintai Kinden will continue to pursue quality-driven projects within Malaysia’s expanding construction and engineering ecosystem, focusing on industrial, commercial, and public infrastructure developments.

The Group currently maintains an outstanding order book of approximately RM143.63 million and a tender book of RM542.87 million, reflecting active participation in new project bids.

With a growing pipeline and improving fundamentals following the completion of its regularisation plan, the Group is well-positioned to enhance shareholder value through disciplined execution, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.
