Canon Marketing Malaysia has officially introduced its 2025 lineup of EOS Masters, along with a brand-new second-tier category – EOS Mentors.
This expansion demonstrates Canon’s ongoing commitment to nurturing Malaysia’s creative community by providing greater access to professional expertise, mentorship, and skill development opportunities for photographers and videographers.
Strengthening Malaysia’s Photography Community
Since its launch in 2023, the EOS Master initiative has played a key role in shaping Malaysia’s photography landscape.
By assembling a distinguished group of professionals, Canon continues to support and inspire photographers across various disciplines.
In 2025, EOS Masters will maintain their prestigious role as Canon’s top photography advocates, focusing on education, brand representation, and creative leadership.
The introduction of EOS Mentors enhances this initiative by providing additional layers of mentorship and training. As secondary trainers and speakers, EOS Mentors will work alongside EOS Masters to further extend Canon’s reach and influence within the photography community.
This collaborative effort aims to engage both aspiring and experienced photographers, offering valuable insights into the evolving world of digital imaging.
The 2025 EOS Masters & Mentors Lineup
Canon officially unveiled the 2025 EOS Masters & Mentors during an exclusive Introduction & Signing Session.
This year’s lineup features 15 EOS Masters and 11 EOS Mentors, representing a diverse range of photography genres. From wedding, event, travel, and portrait photography to wildlife, sports, and photojournalism, the selected professionals bring extensive expertise to the program.
Additionally, the inclusion of content creators, influencers, birding specialists, and extreme sports photographers ensures a well-rounded and dynamic learning experience for the creative community.
Workshops, Seminars, and Hands-On Learning
Canon is dedicated to providing enriching educational experiences through a series of workshops, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Led by both EOS Masters and EOS Mentors, these sessions will equip photographers and videographers with essential technical skills, creative insights, and practical hands-on experience.
Participants will have the opportunity to refine their craft and push the boundaries of visual storytelling under the guidance of industry experts.
Masato Yoshiie, President & CEO of Canon Marketing Malaysia, emphasized the importance of mentorship in the industry.
“The EOS Masters have set a high standard for excellence, and with the introduction of EOS Mentors, we are strengthening our support for the creative community. This initiative underscores our commitment to developing talent and ensuring that knowledge and creativity continue to thrive within the industry.”
