The CrossFire: Legends Championship (CFLC) 2025–2026 has officially entered its Southeast Asia regional stage, marking a major milestone for mobile FPS esports in the region.
With top teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam competing for a total prize pool of approximately RM290,000 (USD70,000), the tournament represents the largest CrossFire: Legends competitive event to date in Southeast Asia.
The journey will culminate in the CFLC Grand Finals on February 8, 2026, where the first-ever regional champion will be crowned.
Following the successful launch of CrossFire: Legends in Southeast Asia in December 2025, the CFLC tournament was designed to establish a strong, competitive ecosystem for the mobile FPS title.
As the inaugural regional championship, CFLC 2025–2026 serves not only to identify the best team in the region but also to elevate CrossFire: Legends as a serious esports platform for both professional players and rising talents.
A Multi-Stage Path to the Regional Championship
The CFLC 2025–2026 tournament began in November 2025 with open qualifiers, allowing teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand to register and compete. These Open Qualifiers, held from November 20 to 23, gave aspiring teams an opportunity to step onto the competitive stage and prove their potential.
From each participating country, the top four teams advanced to the National Qualifiers, which took place from December 10 to 14, 2025. Professional teams were also invited to ensure a high level of competition, with a national-level prize pool of approximately RM100,200 (USD24,600) on the line.
This stage was crucial in filtering out the best of the best and setting the tone for the regional phase.
The National Qualifier Finals were held on December 20 for Malaysia and Indonesia, and on December 21 for the Philippines and Thailand. These finals attracted impressive attention, with over 56,000 viewers tuning in via live streams across the region.
From this intense competition, the top two teams from each country earned their spots in the Southeast Asia regional tournament.
Malaysia’s Representatives on the Regional Stage
Malaysia is represented by TXD and O2, two teams that emerged from the national qualifiers as the strongest local contenders. Their presence in the regional stage reflects the growing strength of Malaysia’s mobile esports scene, especially in the FPS genre.
They now face off against top teams from neighbouring countries, including KDM and VF from the Philippines, EVOS and PRMX from Indonesia, eArena and FullSense from Thailand, and EVO and HF from Vietnam. Together, these ten teams form a diverse and highly competitive lineup that showcases Southeast Asia’s depth of talent.
High-Stakes Group Stage Battles
The CFLC Group Stages, running from January 7 to February 1, 2026, are the heart of the regional competition. Teams battle in a mix of Best of One (BO1), Best of Three (BO3), and Best of Five (BO5) formats, ensuring both fast-paced clashes and long, strategic showdowns.
With approximately RM186,000 (USD45,500) in prize money allocated for this phase alone, every match carries significant weight. Beyond financial rewards, teams are also fighting for a place in the CFLC Semi Finals and, ultimately, the Grand Finals.
Road to the Grand Finals
The tournament reaches its peak on February 7, 2026, with the CFLC Semi Finals, followed by the CFLC Grand Finals on February 8, 2026. This final showdown will decide the first-ever CrossFire: Legends Southeast Asia Champion, a title that will define the early history of the game’s esports scene in the region.
