Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena Reveals 2026 Esports Roadmap for Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines

CODM Garena Reveals 2026 Esports Roadmap

Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena has officially revealed its 2026 esports roadmap for the Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines (SMP) region, outlining a structured and inclusive competitive pathway for players across Multiplayer (MP) and Battle Royale (BR) modes.

The roadmap for the first half of 2026 features an expanded tournament calendar designed to nurture talent from grassroots community competitions all the way to the global stage. With clearer progression routes and increased prize pools, Garena aims to strengthen the competitive ecosystem while offering more opportunities to aspiring players.

Road to the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026

A major highlight of the roadmap is the return of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship (CODMWC), which will run from May to November 2026 across five stages.

The SMP region will enter the global pathway through Stage 3, represented via Garena Masters 11. From there, top teams will compete in Garena’s annual regional qualifier in August, where only two teams will secure spots at the offline World Championship Finals in November.

The five stages are structured as follows:

  • Stage 1 – Local Solo Qualifier (May 2026)
  • Stage 2 – Local Team Qualifier (June 2026)
  • Stage 3 – Garena Masters 11 (July 2026)
  • Stage 4 – Garena Regional Qualifier (August 2026)
  • Stage 5 – CODMWC Finals (November 2026)

In 2025, both qualifying teams came from the Philippines, with Elevate PuK finishing as world runner-up and Stalwart Esports securing third place. Expectations are high for 2026 as teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines aim to challenge for global glory.

Stronger Regional and Grassroots Support

Beyond the world championship pathway, Garena continues to invest in regional and community-level tournaments to grow the competitive scene sustainably.

One of the key grassroots initiatives is Community Gladiators, a flagship BR-focused series that returned in February 2026 with a USD10,000 prize pool for its first season.

Community Gladiators features approachable formats such as 1v1 matches, alongside Duo and Team battles in both MP and BR modes. This structure provides amateur players with an accessible entry point into competitive esports.

The tournament runs from 1 to 28 February 2026, with Grand Finals matches streamed live on Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena’s YouTube channel. Recent highlights include:

  • MP Duo champions: Team Miss Her
  • MP Team champions: Team Starboyz
  • Upcoming BR Duo and BR Squad Grand Finals

Major Regional Events in 2026

Garena Masters 10

The competitive momentum continues with Garena Masters 10, running from 15 February to 15 March 2026. Featuring only Multiplayer mode and boasting a USD40,000 prize pool, the tournament is open to all players across the SMP region.

Following this is the highly anticipated Garena Summer Invitational (GSI), scheduled from April to May 2026, offering a USD60,000 prize pool. Further details about participating teams and formats will be announced in the coming months.

These events not only elevate the competitive standard but also offer significant financial incentives and exposure for emerging teams.

Expanding Opportunities Across MP and BR

A key theme of Garena’s 2026 roadmap is inclusivity across both Multiplayer and Battle Royale formats.

By creating dedicated competitive opportunities for BR players—traditionally underrepresented in some professional circuits—Garena reinforces its commitment to building a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.

The combination of solo qualifiers, team-based tournaments, grassroots competitions, and international pathways ensures that players at every skill level have a chance to compete and grow.

A Promising Year for SMP Esports

With a packed calendar, higher prize pools, and clearer progression from local qualifiers to world championship stages, Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena’s 2026 SMP roadmap sets the stage for another exciting year of regional esports.

For players in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, the message is clear: whether you are an aspiring amateur or an experienced competitor, 2026 offers more opportunities than ever to rise from community tournaments to the global spotlight.
