Launching on July 17, the new story event titled “BOOM! THE GHOST!” throws players into a suspenseful journey aboard a derelict cruise liner. Set on the Surface, this ghostly tale begins as a routine investigation, but quickly descends into mystery as paranormal events begin to plague the crew.
Players must outfit their squad with ghost-hunting tools and uncover the secrets hidden within the ship’s walls.
As with previous events, this narrative-rich experience expands the NIKKE universe while introducing exclusive rewards, character lore, and fresh gameplay mechanics.
Meet the New SSR Characters
Two new SSR characters will make their debut this summer, bringing unique skills and backstories:
- SSR Dorothy: Serendipity – Drawn to the abandoned ship by a ghostly image, Dorothy is on a heartfelt mission to recover her lost companion, Pinne. Her quest intertwines with the central mystery, adding emotional depth and new tactical gameplay.
