PEOPLElogy’s CxO Synergy Gathers Industry Leaders

PEOPLElogy Berhad (“PEOPLElogy” or the “Company”), Malaysia’s first public-listed integrated people development company, successfully hosted the CxO Synergy: Build A Future Team (“BAFT”) event at EQ Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The event convened leaders from business, education, government agencies, and social impact sectors to co-create pathways that drive digital workforce transformation, close the digital skills gap, advance social sustainability, and future-proof Malaysia’s workforce.

PEOPLElogy targets to impact 1 million lives through nationwide upskilling programmes, digital certifications, and job placements for Malaysian youths and mid-career professionals.

As a prelude to the upcoming BAFT initiative, CxO Synergy serves to unite business, skills, and impact partners into one powerful ecosystem. Through this platform, PEOPLElogy also aims to raise RM100 million in collective value, comprising funding, in-kind support, and corporate participation, over the next 36 months to drive sustainable workforce transformation.

The broader BAFT initiative complements national workforce priorities outlined in the MyDIGITAL Blueprint and IR4.0 strategies by integrating digital upskilling, soft skills, industry certifications, and employer-led job pathways within one unified ecosystem. This approach underscores PEOPLElogy’s long-term vision of creating inclusive opportunities and delivering measurable impact through digital workforce transformation.

The Public Private Partnership Model emphasizes the power of collaboration by uniting:

  • Business partnersto provide digital job opportunities
  • Skill partnersto deliver training and certifications
  • Impact partnersto contribute RM100 million in 36 months and drive inclusion while advancing measurable Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) outcomes

Mr. Allen Lee, Founder & Managing Director of PEOPLElogy Berhad, highlighted

“CxO Synergy proves that when business, skills, and impact organisations collaborate with trust, we can truly transform Malaysia’s workforce. Build A Future Team is more than a framework, it is a movement to unite leaders, lead with impact, and transform the digital workforce of tomorrow. Don’t just invest in programs. Invest in people. Don’t just build careers. Build a future team.

Mr. Dickson Woo, Managing Director and Technology Leader of IBM Malaysia, commented,

“IBM is proud to collaborate with PEOPLElogy. Empowering the next generation of talent with future-facing digital and soft skills is not only critical for business, but essential for building a resilient and inclusive workforce. We believe the future of work requires not only technical proficiency but also close collaboration across sectors.

PEOPLElogy’s CxO Synergy is a timely initiative that brings together the right stakeholders to co-create a digitally fluent, AI-literate and ESG-conscious workforce. This is essential for sustaining Malaysia’s regional leadership in a fast-evolving digital economy.”

The event also featured thought-provoking discussions on urgent workforce challenges, including talent shortages, the human cost of not adopting AI in the workplace, and the pressing need to upskill and reskill Malaysians to remain competitive in the age of digital transformation.

In addition, the dialogue highlighted the community impact of BAFT, with a focus on creating digital job opportunities for underserved groups including women, rural youth, and underemployed graduates. By aligning business growth with social good, BAFT ensures that economic progress is inclusive, sustainable, and measurable.

Impact partners stand to gain early recognition as founding contributors, heightened visibility through association with government-linked agencies, and strong ESG value creation for sustainability and CSR reporting. This compelling value proposition is expected to attract more organisations to expand the BAFT ecosystem.

The inaugural CxO Synergy has set the stage for PEOPLElogy’s ongoing efforts to build a strong, connected, and resilient digital workforce. With the combined support of business, skill, and impact partners, BAFT emerges as an innovative initiative for digital workforce transformation, driving social sustainability and empowering Malaysia’s next generation of talent.

PEOPLElogy welcomes strategic partners from government, industry, and civil society to collaborate on co-developing future-ready skills programmes, bridging the education-to-employment gap, and advancing Malaysia’s talent agenda.
