As you stepped into the PUBG MOBILE x Attack On Titan booth, you were instantly transported into a different world — a blend of intense action, nostalgic anime vibes, and futuristic steampunk flair.
Fans of all ages flooded the venue, participating in activities that ranged from interactive photobooths, fan-voted polls, live gaming sessions, and even quirky games like guess-the-gun-sound challenges.
More than just a showcase, the booth served as a celebration of community, fandom, and fun, uniting players and anime enthusiasts under one colossal roof.

In-Game Adventure Begins: Version 3.8 “Steampunk Frontier”
The event wasn’t the only highlight. In conjunction with the launch, PUBG MOBILE also rolled out the Version 3.8 update, officially titled “Steampunk Frontier” — a game-changing patch that blends Attack On Titan’s high-octane themes with new environments, characters, and combat dynamics.
From now until 6 July 2025, players can dive into:
- Titan Transformations: Experience the thrill of transforming into either the Attack Titan or the Colossal Titan, depending on your in-game gear.
- Master the ODM Gear: Fly through the battlefield using the iconic Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) gear, slicing through the skies just like Eren and the Scout Regiment.
- Explore the Steampunk Frontier: A newly designed map featuring massive steam trains, the gorgeous Aetherholm train station, floating hot air balloons, and more. It’s unlike anything PUBG has done before.
Iconic Characters, Now Playable
For those who’ve always dreamed of stepping into the boots of their favourite Attack On Titan heroes, now’s your chance. The collab introduces fully playable character sets for:
- Eren Yeager
- Mikasa Ackermann
- Levi Ackermann
- Armin Arlert
Each set is available in both anime-inspired and realistic 3D styles, letting players choose between faithful cartoon looks or lifelike warrior appearances.
But it gets even better — if you acquire both the Eren Yeager and Attack Titan sets, you unlock Titan Transformation Mode, turning Eren into the Attack Titan mid-match. The same goes for Armin and the Colossal Titan.
