Topping the standings once again are the Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG), who delivered an unbeaten 9-0 streak, earning them the title of Regular Season Kings for the third consecutive season.
Held at Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara, the final week of the Regular Season on May 25 was more than just a showdown of skill—it was a celebration of esports excellence in Malaysia.
With support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Esports Integrated (ESI), and other national bodies, MPL Malaysia continues to thrive as the country’s longest-running and most popular esports league.
Selangor Red Giants (SRG) Marches Towards Riyadh
Selangor Red Giants (SRG) sealed their dominance with 26 points, sweeping both Ocean Black (OB) and Team Rey (TR) 2-0 in the final week. Their perfect run mirrors their Season 13 performance and sets them up with a prime Upper Bracket Semi Finals position in the upcoming Playoffs.
Their eyes are now set on Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where they hope to defend their world title at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC), held as part of the 2025 Esports World Cup.
The MSC offers a massive USD 3 million prize pool, and SRG will be leading the Malaysian charge with high hopes and unbeatable momentum.
Homebois Make a Strong Comeback
Right behind SRG, Homebois (HB) finished second with 22 points and an 8-1 win-loss record—a stunning reversal from their underwhelming Season 14.
Thanks to strategic player transfers including Veldora, Melqt, and Ivannn, Homebois have transformed into serious title contenders and secured the second Upper Bracket Semi Finals slot.

The End of an Era for Todak
One of Malaysia’s most storied teams, Todak (TDK), failed to qualify for the Playoffs for the first time since their debut in Season 4. Despite past championships in Seasons 6, 9, and 11, TDK struggled throughout Season 15, earning only 10 points.
Their 0-2 defeat to JP Niners sealed their fate, forcing them to watch the rest of the tournament from the sidelines.
MPL MY Season 15 Playoffs: What to Expect
The Playoffs will take place over two weekends—Phase 1 from 31 May to 1 June, and Phase 2 from 14 to 15 June. Matches will follow a Best-of-Five format, with the Grand Finals being a Best-of-Seven clash.
The Upper Bracket Quarter Finals kick off on 31 May:
- AERO vs VMS at 12:00 PM GMT+8
- MV vs DXS at 4:00 PM GMT+8
Winners of these matches will face SRG and HB in the Upper Bracket Semi Finals the following day. From that point, the double-elimination format begins, where teams must lose twice before being eliminated.
Season 15 broke yet another record, reaching a peak of 497,877 concurrent viewers during the Week 4 clash between SRG and AERO. According to Esports Charts, MPL Malaysia has seen viewership rise for seven consecutive seasons:
