Astro Battleground, the largest TV street dance competition in Asia, concluded its 2015 edition with a trail-blazing Grand Final on 4th July 2015 at Sunway Pyramid Ice Rink.
The youngest team in the competition, Kidiotics was crowned as Champion of Astro Battleground 2015, edging Death Notz in the final group battle. The long-running Astro’s flagship Chinese programme also witnessed the youngest winner in the show’s nine year history, as Faris Azim Abd Karim from Selangor mesmerised the crowd and judges on his way to clinch the solo championship.
Co-hosted by beauty pageant-turned-emcee Trisha Kuck and home-grown dancer Dennis Yin, Astro Battleground 2015 Grand Final features a prominent panel of judges, comprising internationally renowned dance gurus – Tai Chi (Japan), Funky Lia (Korea), Chun Hsiang (Taiwan), Yiu (Hong Kong) and Vince (The Philippines).
Local girl group, Precious served as the guest performer of the night.

And that’s not all! More dancing excitement is coming your way as Asian Battleground takes the Asian dance scene by storm at One City Grand Ballroom on 7th August, 2015.
Malaysia will be represented by the Astro Battleground 2015 champion (Kidiotics) and first runner up (Death NotZ), and they will be joined by 11 other dance crews from Japan, Korea, China (Shanghai and Hong Kong), the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan Singapore as the crews gear up for Asia’s biggest street dance competition that will be broadcasted LIVE on Astro Wah Lai Toi (Channel 311 and HD CH310).
