“To be honest, Sebulan Raya really got me excited. Everything happened so quickly, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with amazing talents to bring this song to life,” Bunga said.
A Collaboration with Edry Abdul Halim
One of the highlights of Sebulan Raya is Bunga’s collaboration with renowned composer Edry Abdul Halim.
She revealed that their partnership happened unexpectedly when she attended the Muzikal Lawak Superstar event last year. During the event, the song Magika, the soundtrack of the 2010 film Magika, caught her attention and inspired her to create a new version with a similar nostalgic vibe.
“Just listening to the song reminded me of the excitement of the film since it was a childhood memory. So I met Edry and asked him to create a new version,” she explained.
Their discussions led to a fresh composition where Edry provided beats and gave Bunga creative freedom to refine the lyrics and overall arrangement. The result is a lively and heartwarming Raya song that perfectly captures the festive spirit.
Official Release and Music Video
Sebulan Raya was officially launched on 28 February 2025 under Warner Music Malaysia and is now available on all digital platforms. To complement the song, Bunga also released an engaging music video (MV) filmed in various scenic locations in Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor.
From the early stages of the song’s production, Bunga had envisioned an MV that would truly represent the joy of celebrating Hari Raya with family. Working closely with an experienced production team, she ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly.
“I shared my ideas with them, and they brought them to life beautifully. For me, this is an important process to ensure that the final product resonates with everyone, especially my fans,” she said.

According to Bunga, the Sebulan Raya MV is vibrant, full of surprises, and designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia for viewers. She hopes the song will enhance the Raya spirit and bring joy to listeners as they welcome Syawal.
