DuitNow Hot Air Balloon

DuitNow QR, the national QR standard to enable inter-operable QR payments is coming to Kompleks Sukan Negeri Terengganu, Kuala Nerus to promote awareness on how easy it is to go cashless even for small transactions with RM1 Hot Air Balloon rides.

Taking place from 8am-11am and 6pm-9pm, on 7 to 8 Oct, visitors to Karnival Jom Heboh Terengganu can look forward to taking rides and other fun activities such as bubble balloon activity, face painting, and an Instagrammable section at the PayNet DuitNow set-up.

This is the second time DuitNow QR is offering these fun activities, after a resounding success at Karnival Jom Heboh Putrajaya.

“The whole aim is to bring to the rakyat outside of Klang Valley on how easy it is to use DuitNow QR for their small purchases. We first decided to inject some fun with our unique hot air balloon rides in Putrajaya and that was a hit.

Thus, we are now bringing this experience to Terengganu as ‘Rakan Cashless Jom Heboh’. As we digitise the country, everyone should be able to experience the ease of using QR code payments.” – Khairuan Abd Rahman, PayNet’s Director of Retail Payment and Services.

DuitNow plans to tour nationwide as ‘Rakan Cashless’ Karnival Jom Heboh with the hot air balloon rides.
