ECCO ANINE ultra-modern ballet flat
The timeless elegance of a ballet flat has been given an ultra- modern upgrade by ECCO, creating an exceptionally light and graceful shoe that provides the contemporary woman with a wardrobe staple for almost any occasion.

Half the weight of the Danish brand’s previous ballet flats, and a third lighter than most flats, the ECCO ANINE is offered in a range of premium leathers and feminine colours, offering almost limitless styling options and wearing moments.

From a picnic in the park to a dinner date, from the office to weekend shopping, or from a coffee meeting to a barbecue, you can easily and confidently dress the ECCO ANINE up or down, enjoying the shoemaker’s signature lightweight comfort.

Pair it with cropped trousers, a skirt or a dress, emphasise the easiness of the style with a statement accessory, or simply wear it with jeans and an oversized shirt – this classic always looks good.

ECCO ANINE is Truly a 21st-Century Shoe

Named after Anine Frølich, an 18th-century dancer who was the first Danish star of ballet, the ECCO ANINE is truly a 21st-century shoe, made with the company’s rich, premium leathers and state-of-the-art technologies.

ECCO ANINEThe ballet flat will forever be associated with iconic women such as Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn.

And the ECCO ANINE promises to have wide appeal among modern women of style, with the shoe offered in a spectrum of nine colourways, crafted from a wide range of innovative and on-trend materials from the ECCO Leather Studio.

Those materials include patent, printed, metallic and ECCO FLUID-TOUCH CALF Leather, as well as ECCO FINE CRAQUELURE Leather.

Inspired by the cartographical views of sprawling cities and great mountain ranges, ECCO FINE CRAQUELURE Leather has a distinctive, cracked pattern, while also being soft and full of substance.

Only ECCO could have delivered such a lightweight and comfortable reinterpretation of an iconic silhouette, with this ballet flat created using a new last as well as ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology.

The new anatomical last offers a softer and more feminine outlook, as well as a more rounded heel and toe shape that hugs the foot for the best fit yet.

Among other innovations accentuating your comfort is a moulded Poron® inlay sole, which closely follows the contours of your foot, and is covered in ECCO Leather for additional on-foot comfort.

Also adding to your comfort is the stacked leather 1.5mm heel, which is lightweight, flexible and works with the company’s own SHANK technology.

Developed over three decades by the shoemaker, and constantly refined and improved within the brand’s research laboratories, ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology ensures the ECCO ANINE, with its direct-injected, one-component P.U sole, has an ideal balance of cushioning and rebound.

While other shoemakers and styles might have solid, heavier heels, the ECCO ANINE is filled with lightweight, soft P.U, so offers generous, lightweight softness as soon as you have taken them out of the box.

At the same time, the FLUIDFORM™ technology also creates an integral, durable bond between the upper and sole, without any of the compromises common with stitched and glued assemblies.
