Garena has unveiled the host city for the final weekend of Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Southeast Asia (SEA) 2024 Spring. Set to run from Mar 22 to May 26, the inaugural regional tournament will invite 18 stellar teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam to compete for a slice of the USD300,000 prize pool.
12 Grand Finalists will then assemble at Phu Tho Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a weekend of ultimate showdown.
Representatives from each of the four markets will join FFWS SEA 2024 Spring either through direct invitations or local qualifiers.
Top Malaysian teams to represent the nation at FFWS SEA
In a thrilling progression of competitive gaming, the champion of FFWS Malaysia (MY) 2024 Spring, alongside Expand and Homeboi (formerly Farang), will advance to FFWS SEA 2024 Spring this March.
The top two Malaysian seeds at the FFWS SEA 2024 Spring will also automatically secure seats in the FFWS SEA 2024 Fall happening this June. More details will be announced closer to the date.
In total, 18 teams will compete in two legs of online Knockout Stage matches between Mar 22 to May 12, with the best 12 advancing to the Point Rush Stage and Grand Finals from May 24 to 26. More will be revealed in the upcoming FFWS SEA 2024 Spring teaser.
