Golden Destinations Group Berhad

Golden Destinations Group Berhad (“Golden Destinations” or the “Company”), a full-service outbound travel experience curator, announced that both ordinary resolutions tabled at its Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) today were approved with full shareholder support, paving way for its wholly-owned subsidiary, ICE Holidays Sdn Bhd (“ICE Holidays”), to proceed with the proposed acquisitions of 2 properties to serve as its new headquarters for a combined cash consideration of RM45.0 million.

The RM45.0 million proposed acquisitions comprise two commercial parcels and nine office parcels within Menara Liberty for RM42.75 million, together with the adjoining two-storey commercial building known as “Menara Liberty Annex:” for RM2.25 million.

Both acquisitions are governed by conditional sale and purchase agreements entered into between ICE Holidays and Liberty on 11 June 2026. With shareholders having approved both resolutions, ICE Holidays may now proceed towards completion of the acquisitions, subject to the relevant approvals and fulfilment of the remaining conditions, where applicable.

Mr. Mita Lim, Managing Director of Golden Destinations Group Berhad said,

“We thank our shareholders for their full support. The approval allows us to move forward with a key initiative set out in our Prospectus and marks another step in delivering on the commitments made at the time of our listing. The new headquarters will provide us with a stronger platform to support the continued growth of our business, enhance our operational capabilities and accommodate the Group’s longer-term expansion.

As we execute our post-listing plans, we remain focused on disciplined capital deployment and ensuring that our investments support the Group’s longer-term operating requirements. The proposed acquisitions reflect this approach by providing the infrastructure and capacity needed to strengthen our operational foundation and support the continued scaling of the Group’s business in a measured and sustainable manner.”

Golden Destinations continues to progress its post-listing growth strategies, including the establishment of its new centralised headquarters, strengthening brand visibility through intensified marketing initiatives, expanding its geographical footprint into East Malaysia and Singapore, as well as enhancing its IT infrastructure and workforce capabilities. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the Group’s operating platform and supporting sustainable medium- to long-term growth.

With approximately three decades of experience in the travel industry, Golden Destinations has established a strong presence in Malaysia’s outbound travel segment, supported by an established nationwide travel agent network.
