Goodday Milk is bringing back its popular kidpreneur initiative, Goodday KidSTART 4.0, with an even bigger and more exciting programme designed to nurture Malaysia’s next generation of young entrepreneurs.
Now entering its fourth season, Goodday KidSTART is taking things beyond a conventional competition by introducing a more comprehensive journey filled with learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, expert mentorship and a chance to showcase young talents on the national stage. Adding to the excitement, this season will also mark the programme’s first-ever appearance on the big screen through a new film.
Recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the nation’s largest kidpreneur programme, Goodday KidSTART continues its mission to inspire children to think creatively, solve real-world problems and turn their everyday ideas into meaningful business concepts.
From Classroom Ideas to Real Entrepreneurial Experiences
Since its introduction, Goodday KidSTART has grown significantly, providing more Malaysian children with opportunities to explore entrepreneurship from a young age.
The programme started with 340 participants in its debut season before reaching an impressive 8,000 students in Season 3. This growth reflects the increasing interest in giving children practical exposure to entrepreneurship and helping them discover their potential beyond traditional classroom learning.
Backed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Goodday KidSTART 4.0 aims to complement school education through activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
Rather than simply teaching children about business, participants will get the opportunity to identify everyday challenges, develop creative solutions and transform their ideas into workable concepts.
The fourth season will feature nationwide school roadshows, hands-on learning sessions, expert-led mentorship, bootcamps and a national competition. Selected participants will receive additional guidance to help them refine their business ideas and build confidence in presenting their concepts.
Taking Young Kidpreneurs Beyond the Competition
One of the biggest highlights of Goodday KidSTART 4.0 is its ambition to take the children’s entrepreneurial journey beyond the competition itself.
For the first time, the programme will extend onto the big screen through a new film that showcases the creativity, ideas and entrepreneurial spirit of young Malaysians.
This exciting development aims to introduce the participants’ journeys to a wider audience, including parents, families and the general public.
According to Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn. Bhd. and spokesperson for Goodday Milk, the decision to expand the programme reflects the brand’s desire to create a more meaningful and lasting experience for its young participants.
She explained that moving from television to the big screen is not just about making the programme bigger. It is about allowing children’s ideas and experiences to reach more people, ensuring their journey continues to inspire others even after the competition ends.
Goodday Milk also believes that nurturing children goes beyond providing good nutrition. While physical well-being remains important, developing curiosity, creativity and confidence plays an equally valuable role in helping children grow.
Through KidSTART, the brand hopes to provide children with meaningful exposure, practical experiences and opportunities to bring their ideas to life.
