In an exciting move beyond its dairy roots, Goodday Milk has officially launched The Goodday Milk Factory, a unique five-acre lifestyle and community destination located in Section 13, Petaling Jaya.
This newly reimagined space represents the brand’s evolution from a household beverage name into a lifestyle presence centred on community, wellness and everyday connection.
Situated along Jalan Semangat in the heart of Selangor, The Goodday Milk Factory transforms a former industrial site into a vibrant hub where food, fitness and social interaction seamlessly come together.
Rather than functioning as a one-time attraction, the venue is designed as a placemaking concept intended for everyday use, encouraging visitors to integrate it naturally into their daily routines.
From Industrial Past to Community Future
The Goodday Milk Factory is the result of a collaboration between Etika Sdn Bhd, the company behind Goodday Milk, and Lotus Capital, known for creating community-focused destinations.
Instead of completely modernising the space, the developers made a conscious effort to preserve its original industrial character. The rustic architecture has been enhanced with playful murals inspired by cow patterns, creatively reinterpreted to reflect different personalities and everyday moments.
This design approach creates a welcoming, authentic environment that feels approachable and lived-in.
Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn Bhd, explained that the project was inspired by the brand’s philosophy of making healthy living accessible.
“At Goodday Milk, we believe wellbeing is built through everyday habits and shared experiences. The Goodday Milk Factory brings that philosophy into a physical space where people can gather, connect and enjoy meaningful moments together,”.
A Hub for Food Lovers, Fitness Enthusiasts and Families
One of the biggest highlights of The Goodday Milk Factory is its diverse mix of food and beverage offerings. The food hall features several well-known local brands, including the popular Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu, alongside other homegrown vendors serving a variety of Malaysian favourites.
Visitors can also enjoy a full range of beverages from Etika’s portfolio, including Goodday Milk, Pepsi and Wonda Coffee, making the venue an ideal spot for casual meals and social gatherings.
Beyond food, fitness plays a major role in the space’s identity. The factory is home to a HYROX-affiliated workout studio operated by Backyard Training, as well as community pickleball courts managed by The Backyard Pickleball. These facilities encourage visitors to stay active while fostering a strong sense of community among fitness enthusiasts.
This balance of dining and physical activity aligns with Goodday Milk’s broader mission to promote healthy living in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
A Flexible Space for Events and Community Activities
The Goodday Milk Factory also offers flexible event areas designed for community programmes, brand activations and private functions. These multi-purpose spaces allow the venue to host a wide range of activities, from workshops and pop-up markets to social gatherings and celebrations.
According to Lotus Capital Managing Director Karthiik R. Doraisingam, the project reflects a growing focus on placemaking initiatives in Malaysia.
“The Goodday Milk Factory was created to bring people together through shared experiences. It’s designed to be explored, enjoyed and embraced by the community,”.
The project also aligns with national tourism efforts such as Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Selangor 2026, contributing to the development of more vibrant community-centric destinations.
Grand Opening Celebrations Draw Strong Crowd
The official launch of The Goodday Milk Factory attracted a large crowd eager to experience the new space. To celebrate the opening, the first 1,500 visitors were treated to complimentary servings of nasi lemak paired with Goodday Milk, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
Guests also enjoyed free product sampling, beverage tastings and a traditional lion dance performance, adding to the celebratory mood ahead of the Chinese New Year season.
These activities highlighted the venue’s focus on creating joyful, shared experiences that bring people together.
A New Chapter for Goodday Milk
The launch of The Goodday Milk Factory marks a significant milestone for Goodday Milk as it expands beyond being just a beverage brand.
By creating a physical destination that promotes food, fitness and community interaction, Goodday Milk is redefining its role in consumers’ lives. The factory serves as a symbol of the brand’s commitment to wellbeing, connection and everyday happiness.
More than just a lifestyle destination, The Goodday Milk Factory represents a new way for Malaysians to gather, relax and create meaningful memories.
As Petaling Jaya continues to grow as a lifestyle hotspot, The Goodday Milk Factory is poised to become one of the city’s most exciting new community spaces — a place where good days truly come together.
