The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) DG Studio is hosting its second Malaysian retail expansion initiative this year as part of its ongoing city branding flagship promotion, an initiative that commenced in 2015, with the aim to grow the online and offline retail platforms in ASEAN countries for Hong Kong’s lifestyle and trendy brands.
Themed ‘Trendy Lifestyle from Hong Kong’, the HKTDC DG Studio promotion will be hosted at IOI City Mall (LG-K5A, West Wing) from 19-30 June where 14 innovative Hong Kong brands will be showcased. Two of these brands will also be participating at the Toys, Anime, Games & Comic Con (TAGCC) 2019 which is taking place at the PWTC (Hall 4 Booths 101, 102, 107, 108) from 22 – 23 June.
The 14 DG Studio brands are Artiart, Cardhoda, Eco Concepts, FLUFFY House, Hoobbe, Hyone, Kilovest, Konstar, MH Blocks, Paris Garden, SOAP Studio, Tea Lab, Team Green and TINY. The two brands featured at the TAGCC are SOAP Studio and TINY.
DG Studio Brands
Artiart is an innovative design household products brand that produces home wares, drink wares and business-related items with a creative, quirky fun and colourful take. Its AR Iceberg Suction Cup, with its grip bottom, and 100% leak proof Elegance Suction Bottle is heaven-sent for accident-prone individuals and are the company’s best sellers.
Konstar specialises in small household appliances. Its design innovation simplifies how time-consuming household chores are done. 4 of its products have since been awarded the Red Dot Design Award.
