Who will be 2021’s biggest and brightest picks? The fate of the winners are in your hands.
This event will name 26 Top Music Awards winners under six categories – Local Artist, Local Hits, International Artist, International Hits, K-Pop, and Top Fans’ Pick – to be entirely decided by Malaysian music fans for the first time.
Whoever your favourites are, you can send them straight to the top by showing them all your love and support through your votes!
This year’s star-studded nominees list features strong local favourites such as Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Haqiem Rusli and Naim Daniel as well as newcomer Reedzwann, big international acts such as Ariana Grande and Alan Walker, and K-Pop stars such as BTS & Blackpink. Who deserves to shine the most? That’s up to you to decide!
From 9 to 24 July, fans can pick and choose this year’s winners by signing up to JOOX. Free users will get 60 votes per day to help bring their favourite idols to the top while JOOX VIP users are entitled to 1,200 votes per day!

This year’s nominations feature a lot of surprising discoveries – Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza once again proved her unmatched credibility with the Top Local Artist nomination; newcomers such as Aisha Retno, Akhmal Daniel, Lia Aziz, Reedzwann and Vanessa Reynauld are among the Top Local Hits nomination for the first time – in particular, Reedzwann's 2nd single "Adakah Ini Mimpi" has been named No.1 on JOOX Malay Top Hits Chart for 13 weeks; the emergence of electronic dance music (EDM) as a trend in Malaysia; the first time for two Chinese songs ("爱我的时候”– 周兴哲、单依纯 and “Kick Back” by 威神V) to be nominated for the Top International Hits along with three Chinese singers (Jay Chou, G.E.M. and JJ Lin) nominated for the Top International Artist; and the huge impact from Blackpink’s Rosé, TWICE, and IU on Malaysian fans!
On top of it all, the popular local, international and K-Pop stars are competing with each other for the Top Fans’ Pick award, and there’s only one room at the top so make sure your favourite artist grabs the spot!
