Popular Malaysian rapper MK (Muhammad Hairi Amin Hamdan) has been announced as a new ambassador for PUBG MOBILE in Malaysia.
MK, who hails from Sabah, grew to prominence as a member of the rap group K-Clique. In his role as PUBG MOBILE Ambassador, MK will be collaborating with Warner Music Malaysia, and PUBG MOBILE to produce and release two new songs, which will serve as anthems for upcoming PUBG MOBILE professional gaming events later this year.
The two new beat songs will smoothly marry the raw excitement of MK’s rapping style, with PUBG MOBILE’s adrenaline packed battle-royale style game play. They are destined to be fan favourites once they are released.
As well as introducing MK’s music to PUBG MOBILE’s massive Malaysian player base, MK fans will also have new reasons to download and try the game (if they haven’t already), as PUBG MOBILE will also be launching a number of MK focused in-game items. These will include a permanent MK outfit, character, voice pack, in game lobby music and much more.
This is not the first time that PUBG MOBILE has entered into a collaboration with well known music acts. The company recently announced a partnership with international artist Rich Brian, who contributed some of his music to the game. PUBG MOBILE also collaborated previously with iconic K-POP girl band Blackpink.
As part of the game’s three-year anniversary, the Stockholm-based dance music producer Alesso, Belgian musician Lost Frequencies and Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB shared their mix sets, including the worldwide debut of their new single exclusively, at PUBG MOBILE’s anniversary party.
