The highly anticipated Korean thriller Unmasked is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on January 15, 2025, offering a suspense-filled story that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
The plot centers around Trigger, an investigative news team known for exposing controversial truths. After airing a highly contentious story, their future hangs in the balance.
To salvage their careers, the team must achieve the impossible: identify a mole leaking personal stories about them and solve a two-decade-old cold case involving the mysterious disappearance of a famous actor.
Leading the star-studded cast is Kim Hyesoo (Signal, Smugglers) as the determined presenter Oh Soryong. Joining her are Jung Sungil (The Glory, Our Blues) as rookie producer Han Do, and Joo Jonghyuk (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) as contractor Kang Giho.
With a screenplay penned by Gi Ryang and direction by You Sundong (The Uncanny Counter), Unmasked promises a thrilling ride packed with twists and turns.
