Pos Malaysia Berhad has officially unveiled its latest special stamp issue in conjunction with the highly anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign, highlighting the nation’s rich cultural diversity, iconic landmarks, and unique heritage.
More than just a collector’s item, the commemorative stamp collection serves as a tribute to Malaysia’s identity while supporting efforts to promote the country as a world-class tourism destination.
The special stamp collection was launched at the historic Old General Post Office, Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Lumpur by Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing, together with Pos Malaysia Group Chief Executive Officer, Charles Brewer.
A Stamp Collection That Tells Malaysia’s Story
According to Charles Brewer, the collection represents more than a traditional philatelic release. It is a meaningful way for Pos Malaysia to share Malaysia’s story with both local and international audiences.
Each stamp has been carefully designed to reflect the country’s cultural richness, natural beauty, and unique attractions. Through its nationwide and international postal network, Pos Malaysia hopes to help strengthen awareness of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign while encouraging more people to discover the nation’s diverse tourism offerings.
The company also acknowledged the support and collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) in bringing the project to life, ensuring that the collection accurately represents the spirit and aspirations of Visit Malaysia 2026.
Showcasing Iconic Destinations from Every State
The Visit Malaysia 2026 stamp collection features a curated selection of some of the country’s most recognisable landmarks and cultural icons from across Malaysia.
Featured attractions include:

Together, these designs reflect the incredible diversity that makes Malaysia a truly unique destination, blending history, culture, architecture, and nature into one cohesive collection.
Premium Design and Collectible Appeal
To enhance the collection’s visual appeal and exclusivity, Pos Malaysia has incorporated several premium finishing techniques into the stamp issue.
These include:
- Custom die-cut elements
- Heart-shaped perforations on the miniature sheet
- Spot UV finishing to highlight key design details
These enhancements not only make the stamps visually striking but also increase their value as collectible items for philatelists and enthusiasts.
A special highlight of the miniature sheet is the inclusion of Wira and Manja, the official mascots of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
Inspired by the Malayan Sun Bear, the smallest bear species in the world and native to Southeast Asia, the mascots symbolize Malaysia’s rich biodiversity and ongoing commitment to wildlife conservation.
As an endangered species found within the country’s tropical rainforests, the Malayan Sun Bear serves as an important reminder of the need to protect Malaysia’s natural heritage.
