MOONTON Games, the developer behind the globally celebrated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), has announced a historic partnership with Redd+E, appointing the Singapore-based esports media agency as the authorised reseller of broadcast rights for all MLBB Esports intellectual properties in Southeast Asia.
The agreement also covers global broadcast rights sales for the highly anticipated M7 World Championship (M7) in January 2026.
Unveiled on 13 November 2025 during a press conference at the MPL Malaysia Season 16 Playoffs at MAEPS Serdang, this collaboration marks a transformative step for MLBB Esports—one that elevates its status into the realm of mature, mainstream global sports entertainment.
A First-of-Its-Kind Partnership for MLBB Esports
This groundbreaking deal is the first broadcast rights partnership in the history of MLBB Esports, signalling the game’s rising commercial value and its recognition as a premier esports property worldwide.
By partnering with Redd+E, MOONTON Games aims to establish a sustainable and scalable broadcast ecosystem that mirrors the commercial structure of traditional sports leagues.
Redd+E brings decades of combined expertise in sports media, having collaborated with global and regional partners such as the International Paralympic Committee, BLAST Premier, Esports Insider, Badminton Asia, Astro/eGG Network, TVRI, and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
With strong roots in Southeast Asia and a far-reaching global network, the agency is well-positioned to elevate MLBB Esports’ broadcast visibility across multiple markets.
Expanding MLBB Esports Across Southeast Asia and Beyond
Under this new partnership, Redd+E will handle broadcast rights sales for all Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues (MPLs) in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore, as well as the M7 World Championship.
This collaboration is more than a commercial move—it represents a pioneering model for esports broadcasting, one that balances commercial growth with the grassroots community spirit that has shaped MLBB from the beginning.
Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E, highlighted the importance of this partnership:
“This partnership takes a significant step toward unlocking additional revenue streams for esports IP owners. MLBB is one of the most culturally significant and widely followed esports titles in the world. By connecting MLBB with broadcasters across Southeast Asia, we’re driving new commercial pathways that enhance sustainability, audience growth, and long-term value for the entire ecosystem.”
Strengthening MLBB as a Global Sports Entertainment Property
Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships, MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games, emphasised the strategic impact of the collaboration:
“This partnership reinforces MLBB Esports’ reputation as a world-class sports entertainment property. Working with Redd+E allows us to build a stronger, more sustainable broadcast ecosystem—one that delivers commercial value to media partners while ensuring fans can experience MLBB Esports at the highest production standards.”
With Redd+E spearheading broadcast rights sales, MLBB Esports content will become more accessible, more discoverable, and more valuable to broadcasters and sponsors worldwide. This positions MLBB among the world’s top-tier esports and sports properties.
MLBB’s Record-Breaking Growth and Mainstream Recognition
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continues to be one of the most-watched esports titles globally. In 2024, MLBB Esports accumulated an impressive 475 million hours watched, placing it alongside established giants in traditional sports and competitive gaming, according to Esports Charts.
Its influence also extends beyond entertainment. At the Esports World Cup (EWC), global leaders praised MLBB for its ability to inspire youth, drive national digital growth, and transform lives across communities.
With 1.5 billion installations and over 110 million monthly active users, MLBB stands as one of the world’s most-played mobile games, with thriving communities across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.
Adrian Cher added:
“This collaboration is the first step toward a broader global vision, where MLBB Esports is as accessible and commercially compelling as any major global sport. The future of MLBB lies in building bridges across regions, and this partnership lays the foundation for that expansion.”
