In anticipation of the Hari Raya festivity, UNIQLO launched the UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Collection, its first modest wear line at its flagship store in Farenheit88 today.
A collaborative line with UK designer Hana Tajima, UNIQLO emerges in the modest fashion world with the designer by coming together to explore, develop and design a collection that meets the lifestyle and needs of women who value modest style.

The inaugural collection takes inspiration from an appreciation of diversity and its versatility allows for flexible coordination with a range of styles. It features stylish hijab headscarves, with relaxed jeans, rayon blouses, and long dresses, as well as AIRism hijab innerwear headscarves and headbands, for enhanced comfort when wearing a hijab.
The inaugural launch of UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Collection was celebrated with the presence of acclaimed singer-songwriter Yuna who was also featured in the collection.
At the launch event, Hana showcased her styling and looks on the runway and presented the audience different ways of mixing and matching the collection pieces. The UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Collection is available at all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia from 3 July 2015, and selected stores in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
