CUCKOO Malaysia Powers Visit Malaysia 2026 and Expands Smart Healthy Home Partnership with Samsung

CUCKOO Malaysia X Visit Malaysia 2026

CUCKOO Malaysia is stepping into a new chapter of growth and innovation as it strengthens its mission to promote healthier lifestyles and happier homes across the nation.

The company recently announced several major initiatives, including its appointment as a strategic partner for Visit Malaysia 2026, the debut of its first-ever mascot HEPI, and the expansion of its Smart Healthy Home collaboration with Samsung Malaysia.

These announcements were revealed during a landmark Buka Puasa event themed “Sebar HEPI, Hargai Setiap Kebahagiaan”, highlighting CUCKOO Malaysia’s commitment to combining wellness, technology, and cultural storytelling in its efforts to improve the quality of life for Malaysians.

Strategic Partnership for Visit Malaysia 2026

One of the most significant highlights of the evening was CUCKOO Malaysia’s official appointment as a Strategic Partner for Visit Malaysia 2026, a nationwide tourism initiative led by Tourism Malaysia.

The partnership aims to enhance Malaysia’s appeal as a welcoming destination that prioritises health, comfort, and cultural experiences for visitors. By collaborating with Tourism Malaysia, CUCKOO is extending its mission beyond households and into public spaces that shape the visitor experience.

According to Hoe Kian Choon, Non-Independent Executive Director and CEO of CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad, the initiative reflects the company’s evolving role in supporting national development goals.

“For years, our mission has been to integrate wellness into every home. By aligning our growth with national milestones such as Visit Malaysia 2026, we are expanding our impact from private households to public spaces.”

Three Key Initiatives to Support Tourism

To support the tourism campaign, CUCKOO Malaysia has introduced a three-pronged strategy designed to enhance hospitality services and celebrate Malaysian culture.

The first initiative focuses on the HORECA sector—hotels, restaurants, and cafés. CUCKOO will provide a special eight-month promotion offering a 50 percent discount on selected water purifiers to businesses in the hospitality industry. This initiative ensures that visitors can enjoy high-quality drinking water while experiencing Malaysian hospitality.

The second initiative highlights cultural storytelling through collaboration with local creative collective Loka Made. Together, they have created a series of illustrated designs that will decorate CUCKOO water stations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

These vibrant illustrations celebrate Malaysia’s iconic wildlife, delicious food culture, traditional crafts, landmarks, and tropical fruits. The designs also feature CUCKOO’s brand ambassadors Siti Nurhaliza and Phei Yong, alongside the company’s new mascot HEPI.

Finally, the illustrations will also appear on limited-edition commemorative merchandise, including collectible 3D greeting cards available through CUCKOO’s gift-with-purchase promotions.

Enhancing the Airport Experience with Water Stations

CUCKOO Malaysia is also improving the travel experience for visitors arriving in the country.

Through collaboration with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, the company has installed 96 water stations across Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminals 1 and 2.

For the first time, water stations will be available directly inside boarding gates at Terminal 1, allowing travellers to easily access clean drinking water before their flights.

This initiative not only improves passenger comfort but also supports environmental sustainability by reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

Beyond KLIA, CUCKOO has already installed water purifiers at 10 major airports across Malaysia, including those in Kota Kinabalu, Langkawi, and Kuching, further expanding access to safe drinking water for travellers.

Meet HEPI: CUCKOO Malaysia’s First Mascot

Another exciting highlight of the event was the introduction of CUCKOO Malaysia’s first mascot, HEPI.

The character’s name is inspired by the word “happy” and represents the company’s philosophy that happiness begins with a healthy home. Designed as a genderless “Healthy Home Creator,” HEPI features crescent-shaped smiling eyes and open arms that symbolise warmth, positivity, and inclusivity.

A glowing heart on HEPI’s chest represents the joy that comes from living in a healthy environment.

According to Queenie Goh, the mascot was created to connect the brand’s wellness mission with everyday happiness.

She explained that while CUCKOO’s ecosystem focuses on improving health at home, the ultimate goal is to help families experience joy and well-being together.

HEPI will join the brand’s ambassadors, Siti Nurhaliza and Phei Yong, in future campaigns aimed at inspiring more Malaysians to embrace healthier lifestyles under the #SAMASAMAHealthier movement.

Expanding the Smart Healthy Home Collaboration with Samsung

CUCKOO Malaysia X Samsung

In addition to its tourism initiatives, CUCKOO Malaysia also announced a strengthened partnership with Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Following the successful launch of the “CUCKOO Smart Healthy Home Co-Created Programme with Samsung,” the collaboration has now entered its next phase with a refreshed lineup of smart devices integrated into Samsung’s Samsung SmartThings ecosystem.

The updated lineup introduces three premium smart products designed to enhance modern living:

  • Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo (12/7kg) – This advanced washer dryer uses AI-powered technology to analyse load weight, fabric type, and soil levels, automatically adjusting water and detergent usage for optimal cleaning performance.
  • 65-inch QLED QEF1 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV – More than just an entertainment device, this smart TV also serves as a home wellness hub with integrated fitness features and SmartThings connectivity.
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ – Featuring a large display, AI-powered productivity tools, and long battery life, the tablet supports both work and creative activities while promoting an active lifestyle.

Smart Technology Made Accessible Through Rental Plans

One of the most notable changes in this new phase of collaboration is the introduction of CUCKOO Malaysia’s rental model for these smart devices.

Instead of requiring a large upfront payment, customers can access these technologies through affordable monthly plans.

This approach reflects CUCKOO’s commitment to making advanced home solutions more accessible to Malaysian households.

By combining Samsung’s technological innovation with CUCKOO’s rental expertise, the partnership aims to create a more inclusive smart home ecosystem.

Driving Growth Through Strategic Innovation

The CUCKOO Co-Created Programme is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its ecosystem of wellness solutions through strategic collaborations.

The business segment already includes partnerships with brands such as LSK, OGAWA Malaysia, and Fujiaire, covering a wide range of home appliances and lifestyle products.

Financially, the strategy appears to be paying off. CUCKOO Malaysia reported strong operational resilience in its latest financial results, with profit after tax rising significantly in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The company recorded RM1.1 billion in revenue for the year, with the Co-Created business segment contributing over 20 percent of total revenue.

These results demonstrate the growing demand for flexible, affordable home solutions as more consumers prioritise wellness and convenience in their daily lives.

A Vision for Healthier, Happier Living

With initiatives spanning tourism, smart technology, and wellness innovation, CUCKOO Malaysia is positioning itself as more than just a home appliance brand.

By connecting homes, public spaces, and digital ecosystems, the company aims to create a holistic lifestyle experience centered around health, sustainability, and happiness.

As Malaysia prepares for the global spotlight during Visit Malaysia 2026, CUCKOO Malaysia’s latest initiatives signal a forward-looking vision where wellness, technology, and culture come together to shape the future of modern living.
