Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad celebrated a major milestone in its corporate journey with a triple celebration commemorating the company’s 60th anniversary, the 30th anniversary of Kuala Lumpur Tower, and the official launch of Visit Malaysia Square @ Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Held under the theme “From Foundation to Skyline”, the celebration reflected both the growth of the company and the evolving role of Kuala Lumpur Tower as one of Malaysia’s most recognisable tourism landmarks.
The event brought together tourism stakeholders, strategic partners, industry leaders, media representatives, and government officials against the stunning backdrop of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.
Six Decades of Growth and Nation-Building
Founded in 1966 by the late Lim Seong Hai, the company began as a modest construction business serving Malaysia’s growing post-independence economy.
Over the years, Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad evolved into a diversified construction and engineering group with businesses spanning property development, building materials, mechanical and electrical products, machinery rental, hardware solutions, and facilities management.
The Group also achieved several important milestones in the capital market, including its debut on Bursa Malaysia’s LEAP Market in 2021 before successfully transferring to the ACE Market in March 2025.
Today, the company continues expanding its footprint through major projects such as LSH Segar Project, Lake Side Homes, LSH Sentul Ria, and LSH Bund, while also entering the tourism and facilities management sector through its involvement with Kuala Lumpur Tower and the Morib Rejuvenation project.
According to Chairman Lim Keng Cheng, the anniversary represents more than a celebration of corporate success.
“This 60th Anniversary is not only a celebration of our heritage, but a reaffirmation of our responsibility to the next generation of Malaysians.”
Kuala Lumpur Tower Enters a New Chapter
For three decades, Kuala Lumpur Tower has stood proudly as one of Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks, attracting millions of local and international visitors.
Since taking over operations, LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd (LSHSM) has invested heavily in improving visitor experiences, upgrading facilities, refreshing food and beverage offerings, and strengthening overall service standards.
Visitors can now enjoy upgraded attractions including:
- Observation Deck panoramic views

The company also revealed long-term enhancement plans aimed at positioning Kuala Lumpur Tower as a world-class tourism and lifestyle destination.

There are also plans for stronger integration with the nearby KL Forest Eco Park, one of Malaysia’s oldest permanent forest reserves.
Visit Malaysia Square Officially Launches
One of the biggest highlights of the celebration was the official unveiling of Visit Malaysia Square @ Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Developed through collaborations with Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, JKKN, and DBKL, the new tourism space is designed to celebrate Malaysia’s multicultural identity through immersive cultural experiences and lifestyle activities.
The square will feature weekly community-driven programmes including:

The initiative also supports the national Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by strengthening Malaysia’s position as a global tourism destination.
As one of the first attractions in Malaysia to introduce a dedicated experiential tourism and lifestyle hub for Visit Malaysia 2026, the new space is expected to become a key destination for both tourists and locals alike.
A Shared Vision for Malaysia’s Future
The triple celebration symbolises more than corporate milestones. It reflects how Malaysian businesses, tourism agencies, and communities can work together to elevate the country’s tourism industry and urban landscape.
According to Lim Keng Cheng, the stories of LSH Capital and Kuala Lumpur Tower are now closely connected through a shared vision for Malaysia’s future.
With the launch of Visit Malaysia Square and continuous upgrades planned for Kuala Lumpur Tower, the landmark is entering a new era as not only a tourism attraction, but also a cultural and lifestyle destination for Malaysians and international visitors ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026.
