Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 | First-Ever Battle Royale Major Heads to Manila
Battle Royale fans and competitive players of Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena have a major tournament to look forward to, as Garena has officially announced the Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 (COD:M GBRC 2026).
Marking the first-ever Battle Royale Major for the game, the tournament will feature a substantial US$40,000 prize pool and bring together some of the best teams from across the Garena region.
The competition will reach its climax with an offline Grand Finals in Manila, Philippines, on November 7 and 8, 2026, where 10 teams will battle for the championship title.
Malaysia Players Get a Chance to Qualify
For players in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, the journey towards the Grand Finals begins with an open registration phase.
Players can form teams of four to five members and register from September 8 to September 21, 2026. Registration closes at 11.59PM (GMT+8) on September 21.
The tournament then moves into a series of competitive stages designed to identify the strongest teams in the region.
The Qualifiers, running from September 26 to October 4, will use a single-elimination format, with teams competing through one round per map.
Following the Qualifiers, 40 teams will progress to the Group Stage on October 10 and 11. These teams will be divided into four groups of 10, with the top five teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs.
Road to the Grand Finals
The Playoffs, scheduled for October 17 and 18, will see the remaining 20 teams compete across eight maps.
Only the seven highest-ranked teams will secure their places at the Grand Finals in Manila.
They will be joined by three other regional representatives, creating a 10-team Grand Finals lineup. Seven teams will come from Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, while Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau will each provide one representative.
This format gives players from Malaysia and other participating markets a clear pathway from open competition to the regional stage.
A New Challenge with the EndGame Protocol
The Grand Finals will introduce the tournament’s new EndGame Protocol, adding another layer of excitement to the final competition.
Across up to 12 maps over two days, teams must first reach a designated points threshold before becoming eligible to win the championship.
However, reaching the required points will not be enough. An eligible team must then secure a map victory to claim the title.
Once a team has achieved both requirements, the tournament will immediately come to an end.
This format is expected to create intense competition, as teams will need to balance consistent performance with the ability to close out a map when the championship is within reach.
Another Offline Regional Tournament in the Philippines
The Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 Grand Finals will also mark the second offline regional Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena tournament hosted in the Philippines this year.
It follows the Garena Summer Invitational 2026, which took place in May.
With its US$40,000 prize pool, international participation and new EndGame Protocol, the inaugural Battle Royale Cup provides competitive players with another major opportunity to showcase their skills.
