Goodday Milk Factory Brings Gaming, Hobbies and Spooky Fun to SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026
The Goodday Milk Factory in Petaling Jaya came alive with three days of spooky entertainment, gaming competitions, creative activities and community experiences during SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026, held from 23 to 25 October 2026.
Organised by SlyBear Eatery Sdn. Bhd. in collaboration with Goodday Milk and Topcom Sdn. Bhd./Pulse Project Asia, the festival transformed the five-acre lifestyle destination into a lively gathering place for families, gamers, hobby collectors and visitors of all ages.
From haunted attractions and esports tournaments to Beyblade X battles and a hobby marketplace, the festival offered a variety of activities designed to bring different communities together through shared interests.
Spooky Attractions and Exciting Gaming Competitions
One of the main highlights of SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 was its selection of spooky attractions, including a haunted house and the Cursed Royal Carriage. These experiences gave visitors the opportunity to enjoy some Halloween-inspired thrills while exploring the festival grounds.
Gaming enthusiasts also had plenty of reasons to join the excitement, with esports tournaments offering a combined prize pool of RM2,300. The competitions provided a platform for players to test their skills, compete against other participants and enjoy the growing gaming community in Malaysia.
Beyond the haunted attractions and esports action, visitors could explore carnival games, interactive brand experiences and a variety of food and beverage options throughout the three-day event.
Beyblade X Battles Bring Hobby Fans Together
Beyblade fans were also treated to competitive action through the festival’s Beyblade X competitions, organised in collaboration with Warung Hobi and WAIBBA.
Adding to the excitement were special coaching sessions featuring Akmal, Malaysia’s 2025 G1 Champion and a World Championship representative, alongside Tito O. These sessions gave enthusiasts an opportunity to learn from experienced players, improve their techniques and gain insights into competitive Beyblade play.
For collectors and hobby enthusiasts, the festival also featured a dedicated marketplace offering trading cards, toys and collectibles. The space provided visitors with an opportunity to discover interesting items, explore their favourite hobbies and connect with other collectors who share similar interests.
Creative Activities for Young Visitors
SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 was not just about gaming and spooky entertainment. Younger visitors could also take part in an art competition open to children aged six to 16.
Inspired by cartoons, comics, superheroes, anime and popular culture, the competition encouraged children to express their creativity through art while celebrating the characters and stories they love.
The inclusion of creative activities helped broaden the festival’s appeal, making it a destination where families could enjoy different experiences together.
Visitors could also participate in the Official Stamp & Win Postcard activity, which encouraged them to explore different festival zones and take part in selected activities for a chance to win prizes.
The Goodday Milk Factory’s Vision for Community Experiences
For Goodday Milk, hosting SlyBear Scary Good Fest reflected the broader vision behind The Goodday Milk Factory: creating a lifestyle destination where people from different backgrounds can connect through meaningful experiences.
Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn. Bhd., explained that healthy living extends beyond nutrition to include building relationships, strengthening connections and enjoying experiences that enrich everyday life.
Through collaborations such as SlyBear Scary Good Fest, Goodday hopes to welcome more communities, interests and generations to the venue while supporting organisers who create fresh experiences for Malaysians.
The festival also demonstrated how The Goodday Milk Factory can serve as a platform for community-led activities, giving visitors opportunities to discover new interests and spend quality time together outside their usual routines.
Free Entry and More Chances to Win Prizes
According to Sid Ng, Co-Founder and Executive Chef at SlyBear Eatery Sdn. Bhd., the event grew from a small community gathering into a three-day festival thanks to the enthusiasm of its partners, collaborators and participating communities.
The festival offered free entry, although selected experiences were paid. Visitors could also enjoy opportunities to win merchandise, collectibles and other prizes through competitions, festival activities and lucky draws.
Those purchasing selected meals with Goodday Milk or Pepsi could participate in the Spin & Win activity to receive instant prizes and a chance to enter the lucky draw.
The event also brought together participating brands and community partners, including Goodday Charge, Pepsi, U Mobile, Famous Amos, Warung Hobi and the Malaysian Esports Federation.
Their involvement contributed to the festival’s diverse programme, combining entertainment, food, gaming, hobbies and interactive experiences in one location.
A Festival That Celebrates Shared Interests
SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 demonstrated how a community festival can bring together people with different interests, from competitive gamers and Beyblade fans to young artists, families and collectors.
By combining spooky attractions, competitions, creative activities and opportunities to discover new hobbies, the event offered more than just a weekend of entertainment. It created a space where Malaysians could meet like-minded people, explore their passions and make new memories.
With The Goodday Milk Factory continuing to welcome community-focused experiences, the collaboration also highlighted the potential for the venue to host more events that bring people together through good food, good fun and shared interests.
