Titled “Protect Nature, Protect All Life”, the event runs through April 22, 2025, blending gameplay with education and action.
By completing daily tasks, engaging with in-game storytelling, and uniting as a global community, players can actively support forest ecosystems in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brazil — all while unlocking in-game rewards and learning about endangered species.
Protect Nature, Protect All Life: From Pixels to Preservation
The campaign’s core feature is a series of in-game missions that reward players with Forest Breath tokens, unlocking four interactive chapters that explore:
- Katingan Peatland (Indonesia)
- Kuamut Rainforest (Malaysia)
- Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve (Indonesia)
- Amazon APD Grouped Project (Brazil)
These chapters highlight 18 unique plant and animal species, including endangered wildlife, through beautifully crafted narratives. As players complete their missions, their progress contributes to a global progress bar.
Once this bar reaches 100%, Honor of Kings will purchase and retire verified carbon credits, supporting on-the-ground forest conservation efforts in the highlighted regions.
The credits are assessed by Sylvera, a trusted independent carbon credit rating agency, ensuring that each initiative delivers real, measurable environmental benefits. This level of transparency and accountability sets a new standard for how gaming can engage in meaningful sustainability.
Unlock the Legendary Skin: Sakeer – Verdant Serenity
A highlight of the campaign is the chance to earn a free Legendary Skin – Sakeer: Verdant Serenity. Designed with vibrant, forest-inspired visuals, immersive animations, and voice lines focused on healing humanity’s bond with nature, the skin is available through a limited-time event titled “Match for Green”.
Running from April 10 to May 4, Match for Green allows players to participate in a fun stack-and-match game. Completing missions, sharing progress with friends, and logging in daily will grant tokens to unlock this exclusive skin — a symbolic reward that also celebrates ecological awareness.
