ikhlas.com has successfully expanded its annual Korban Perdana programme to its largest scale yet in 2026, benefiting more than 4,200 asnaf families across the Klang Valley through a significantly larger qurban distribution initiative driven by increased corporate participation.
Organised by Ikhlas Com Travel & Umrah Sdn Bhd (ikhlas.com), the four-day programme reflects the growing impact of structured and community-driven qurban initiatives in Malaysia.
This year’s edition involved eight mosques and suraus across multiple locations, further strengthening the programme’s reach and support for underserved communities.
The initiative also introduced several new value-added efforts aimed at maximising aid distribution and enhancing the overall impact of the programme.
Corporate Participation Drives Major Expansion
According to Chief Executive Officer of ikhlas.com, Ikhlas Kamarudin, the growth in corporate participation played a major role in enabling the programme to scale up significantly this year.
The increased support from corporate partners allowed the organisation to expand the number of qurban locations, increase meat distribution capacity, and reach a wider segment of asnaf recipients.
Ikhlas explained that the programme’s collaborative ecosystem involving mosques, local communities, volunteers, and corporate contributors helped streamline the qurban process while ensuring aid was distributed efficiently and transparently.
He also highlighted that this structured approach simplifies the fulfilment of qurban obligations while creating a larger social impact for communities in need.

Introduction of ‘Lembu Sado’ Enhances Distribution
One of the most notable additions to this year’s Korban Perdana programme was the introduction of complimentary “lembu sado” offerings.
Under this initiative, ikhlas.com provided one muscular cow for every purchase of ten cows made through participating partner mosques.
As a result, nine “lembu sado” weighing approximately one tonne each were sacrificed and distributed directly to asnaf families alongside the main qurban meat allocation.
The initiative significantly increased the amount of meat available for distribution, allowing more families to benefit from the programme during the Hari Raya Aidiladha season.
Beyond qurban meat distribution, ikhlas.com also distributed 1,000 food baskets containing daily essential items as part of a broader effort to provide more holistic support to vulnerable communities.
The food basket initiative reflects the organisation’s growing emphasis on addressing practical household needs in addition to fulfilling religious obligations.
Multiple Locations Across Klang Valley
The seventh edition of Korban Perdana was carried out across several locations around the Klang Valley and Selangor.
Participating mosques and suraus included:
| Location | Venue |
|---|---|
| Gombak | Masjid Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) |
| Puchong | Masjid Pulau Meranti |
| Seri Kembangan | Surau Nurul Ikhlas |
| Putrajaya | Masjid Mahmoodiah |
| Seri Kembangan | Surau An-Nur |
| Tanjong Karang | Masjid Nurul Iman |
| Sungai Buloh | Surau Qardul Hassan |
The programme was implemented in collaboration with Malaysian Humanitarian Aid and Relief (MAHAR), while additional aid distribution efforts in Subang and Shah Alam were supported through a partnership with digital platform TheNoor.
The collaborative effort demonstrates how digital platforms, humanitarian organisations, and local religious institutions can work together to strengthen community welfare initiatives.
Community and Celebrity Participation
This year’s Korban Perdana programme also saw the involvement of local celebrities including Nora Danish and Neelofa, who attended selected programme activities and contributed to raising awareness around the initiative.
Volunteers, mosque committees, and local congregants also played an important role throughout the implementation process, from qurban preparations to aid distribution activities.
The strong sense of community involvement continues to be one of the defining strengths of the Korban Perdana programme, helping create a more meaningful and people-driven experience for beneficiaries and contributors alike.
Building a Transparent and Structured Qurban Ecosystem
Korban Perdana remains ikhlas.com Qurban’s flagship annual initiative and has steadily grown into one of the more structured community-based qurban programmes in Malaysia.
The initiative was designed to bring together corporate partners, volunteers, humanitarian organisations, and local communities within a transparent and high-impact ecosystem for qurban implementation.
By leveraging strategic partnerships and digital coordination, ikhlas.com aims to ensure that contributions are managed responsibly while maximising benefits for recipients.
The organisation’s continued expansion of the programme also reflects increasing public confidence in digital Islamic service platforms that prioritise transparency, amanah, and operational efficiency.

Through expanded partnerships, increased corporate participation, and a more holistic aid approach, ikhlas.com’s Korban Perdana 2026 demonstrates how collective efforts can create a larger and more meaningful impact for families in need.
