Hektar REIT’s Education Asset – Kolej Yayasan Saad Continues to Achieve Academic Excellence

Hektar Asset Management Sdn. Bhd., the Manager of Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust (“Hektar REIT”), extends its heartfelt congratulations to Kolej Yayasan Saad (KYS) Melaka on its outstanding Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 results.

Operating from the education property owned by Hektar REIT, KYS once again ranked among the nation’s top academic performers, achieving a national ranking of 9 based on the Ministry of Education’s official results.

A remarkable 50% of students achieved straight As, reinforcing KYS’s reputation and dedication for academic excellence and holistic education.

This stellar performance reaffirms KYS’s standing among Malaysia’s most accomplished private secondary schools and highlights the long-term institutional strength that underpins Hektar REIT’s foray into the education real estate sector, supporting resilient and impactful institutions.

Additionally, 50% of students from the previous SPM batch received full scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies, highlighting the capability of the school in nurturing future talents and delivering excellent results.

To recap, Hektar REIT completed the  acquisition of  KYS campus in Q3 2024 as part of its portfolio diversification strategy.

The property, operating under a long-term lease structure, delivers steady income and represents a strategic expansion into the education sector, one that reinforces Hektar REIT’s objective of sustainable growth and impact-led investing.
