After years of dedication and refining his musical concepts, Malaysian singer Luqman Podolski has finally released his long-awaited debut EP, Kau Apa Sebenarnya?, on January 24.
Marking a significant milestone in his career, the 27-year-old artist introduces fresh musical elements to captivate his fans, who have eagerly awaited his latest work.
“I’ve been collecting song ideas since the beginning of my career. Some tracks have already been released, while others were waiting for the right moment. After long discussions with Warner Music Malaysia, we carefully selected the songs that best represent this EP,” Luqman shared.
One of the main highlights from Kau Apa Sebenarnya? is the track ‘Tiba-Tiba’, which has been chosen as the lead single following the EP’s launch.
Other songs featured in the release include ‘Tak Sedar Diri’, ‘Salahkah Aku?’, ‘Rahsia’, and ‘M*’**.
A Special Collaboration with Zynakal
A standout moment in this project is the song ‘Aku Dah Tak Percaya’, which marks Luqman’s first-ever collaboration with Zynakal.
The track holds a special place in his heart, as he initially struggled to find the right artist to collaborate with.
“I had sent the demo to several artists before, but I never received a response. Maybe they didn’t feel the song was right for them, or perhaps they took too long to decide. I’m really grateful that Zynakal agreed to work on it with me—we both felt this song was the perfect match for us,” Luqman said.
A Long-Awaited Full Version of ‘M*’**
Another exciting track in the EP is ‘M*’**, a song that has been highly anticipated by Luqman’s fans for years.
Originally created in 2016 as a short one-minute piece for social media, the song quickly gained popularity, with many fans requesting a full version.
To fulfill his listeners’ wishes, Luqman finally completed the track and included it in Kau Apa Sebenarnya?.
“This song started as just a short clip, but so many people loved it and kept asking for a full version. I’m really happy that I could finally finish it and share it with everyone. I hope my fans will enjoy this complete version and continue supporting my music,” he expressed.
Exclusive Listening Party for Fans
To celebrate the launch of his debut EP, Luqman Podolski hosted an exclusive listening party, where over 100 lucky fans had the chance to listen to his new songs before anyone else.
Fans not only got to experience live performances of several tracks but also participated in interactive side events designed for them.
