Oukitel Brand Launch in Malaysia
Oukitel , an established smartphone manufacturer from China has officially entered the Malaysian market today.

Oukitel is a passionate brand targeting at a wider global market and dedicated to deliver finely designed yet wallet-friendly smart devices to consumers across continents.

Oukitel, as the name suggests that U & I for OK Life, it supplies people smart devices that are dedicated to work for OK life for you & I. It is the source of joy and love. All Oukitel products will be found in stylish design, fine polytechnic and well equipped.

In order to gain international exposure, Oukitel also participated in major international technology exhibition such as the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona last month. This allows more people to know the Oukitel brand and how outstanding and innovative Oukitel products are!

For the South East Asia region, Oukitel brand was first introduced in Cambodia, followed by Vietnam. And now, Oukitel has officially launched in Malaysia !

Oukitel smartphones are divided into three series, which are:

  • C series, which are Stylish and Affordable
  • K series, which offer Long Lasting Big Battery
  • U series, which have Premium design and high performance

Oukitel K6000 Plus

Oukitel K6000 PlusThe latest Oukitel K series smartphone — Oukitel K6000 Plus which was first announced at MWC 2017 this year has now arrived in Malaysia.

K6000 Plus sports a full metallic body with a front mounted fingerprint scanner. The display is a 5.5-inch LTPS panel with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution offers bright, sharp and vivid color.

Under the hood, it is equipped with a MediaTek 6750T octa-core SoC. It is an energy-efficient processor, with 4 cores working at 1 GHz, for the lighter tasks, and a cluster of 4 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz for heavy works.

The device is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which means you have ample memory for multitasking and media storage on it. Also, it supports micro-sd memory card up to 128GB.

For the main camera, the K6000 Plus adopts a PDAF-assisted 16 MP Sony IMX298 sensor which is 1/3.06 inches in size and its individual pixels have a diameter of 1 μm.

It will capture more detail with wider dynamic range, offer superior low-light performance, and focus more sharply on moving objects.

On the front, it uses an 8 MP camera with a wide angle of 80 degrees that ensure more people to fit in the shot.

Being the main focus of the device, the enormous 6,080 mAh SCUD battery of the K6000 Plus not only provide satisfactory battery life but the battery are also tested to be 100% safe as well.

The phone supports 12V/2A fast charging and is able to reach 100% charge in just 100 minutes. For 5 minutes of charge, it can last you more than 2 hours of talk time.

Out of the box, K6000 Plus will come with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system for better software support.

K6000 Plus will be available in Malaysia on April at RM999 and it will come in two color choices: Gray and Gold.




Oukitel U16 Max

Oukitel U16 MaxThe newest entry of the Oukitel U lineup — Oukitel U16 Max offers an aircraft aluminium alloy body design with 2.5D curved glass panel. The middle frame is crafted with complex CNC technology that makes it look elegant and comfortable to touch.

With a body dimension measurements of 165.5×83.3×9.15mm and weighing in at 222g, the U16 Max features a gorgeous 6-inch HD JDI display with LTPS technology.

Specifications wise, the U16 Max is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor that is paired with GPU ARM Mali-T720 MP3. It is bundled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card of up to 32GB.

U16 Max runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS which is customized by Oukitel. This handset offers a large size battery of 4000mAh capacity and it is supported with 5V/1.5A quick charge.

U16 Max offers a 13MP rear camera is supported with a LED Flash. There’s no interpolation and the camera lens capture the perfect shot you desire. There’s also a 5 megapixel front camera for clear selfie shot.

There’s also a 0.1sec Fingerprint ID scanner placed on the rear panel which provides security protection.

Its other features include dual SIM dual standby capability that supports 4G network, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The Oukitel U16 Max have Gray and Gold color options, and its retail price in Malaysia is RM889. It will be available in Malaysia on April.

Oukitel U20 Plus

Oukitel U20 Plus
Oukitel U20 Plus was introduced in the Malaysian market earlier this month. It offers dual-lens camera on the back that offers a SLR experience with more light and better clarity.

The exterior of the U20 Plus offers an ergonomic design which is made from solid polycarbonate with curved edges and the rounded-off corners of its 2.5D glass panel makes it look beautiful.

Its front panel presents a decent 5.5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel Full HD IPS display made by Sharp and a circular fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear panel which provides security protection and also acts as a gesture control pad.

Under the hood, it is equipped with a MediaTek's MT6737T quad-core SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz paired with GPU ARM Mali-T720 MP2. It is coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on board storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The device is running on a SCUD-made 3,300 mAh capacity battery that is capable to last you throughout the day.

The rear cameras are the center of attention for the U20 Plus. Supported with autofocus and LED Flash, its main sensor adopts Sony’s 13 MP IMX135 and assisted by a 0.3 MP secondary unit which is used to collect image data like distance, depth, and light.

This allows the dual rear cameras to deliver quality photographs with its built-in software algorithms.

For selfies, U20 Plus uses a 5 MP front-facing camera which can generate into 8 MP interpolated photos for higher resolution images.

The user interface for the U20 Plus is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS that gives you a stock Android experience with added software features.

Oukitel U20 Plus is available in Malaysia now at RM639 with three color options: Jet Black, Gray and Gold.

For the budget segment, the latest addition of the Oukitel C series are the Oukitel C3 and C5 Pro which both have been launched in Malaysia on February this year. These two handsets offer nice design with decent specs and come with affordable price tags below RM400 only.
