Game On, Dreamers! 2026 Unveils Exciting Lineup of Gaming, Cosplay and Music Experiences in Singapore

Singapore is getting ready for an exciting new festival this December as Game On, Dreamers! (G.O.D) brings together gaming enthusiasts, esports competitors, cosplay fans, music lovers and families for three days of entertainment.

Making its debut from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the festival promises a diverse programme of gaming activities, live competitions, immersive experiences, exclusive merchandise and electronic music performances.

Designed around three themed zones – Dream World, Dream Battle and Dream Play – G.O.D aims to create a shared playground where visitors can explore different aspects of gaming and pop culture, whether they are hardcore gamers or simply looking for a fun weekend experience.

The festival will also feature R.E.M, a high-energy electronic music event featuring international DJs and regional performers, adding another dimension to Singapore’s entertainment calendar.

Dream World: Explore Gaming Universes and Experience R.E.M

Dream World invites visitors to step beyond their screens and explore experiences inspired by popular gaming universes.

Fans can look forward to immersive environments, interactive challenges, themed photo opportunities and dedicated gaming stations. The zone will also feature curated displays, character showcases and nostalgic arcade experiences, allowing visitors to revisit familiar games while discovering new ones.

For those who enjoy combining gaming with food, themed dining experiences will bring selected gaming worlds to life through creatively designed food and drinks. Dedicated play areas, demo stations and exclusive merchandise will provide even more opportunities to enjoy the festival.

Thrill-seekers can also explore suspense-filled walkthroughs inspired by gaming environments, featuring atmospheric settings, unexpected encounters and interactive challenges.

As the day transitions into night, Dream World will lead visitors into R.E.M, a two-night electronic music spectacle set within The Grid, a fictional dystopian universe shaped by routine and control.

The concept transforms the dance floor into a living game world, with festivalgoers taking on the role of Dreamers as they journey towards unlocking G.O.D Mode.

The experience will combine dynamic laser displays, striking stage production and energetic DJ performances. Its international lineup includes Brennan Heart, Dimension, Fantasm, Hannah Laing, Lilly Palmer, Lost Frequencies and WUJACKERS.

Local and regional performers Ezra Hazard, Joshua Dillon, Mr. Yang and Tchuno will also join the programme.

By combining electronic music with gaming-inspired storytelling, R.E.M offers a different way for visitors to experience the festival after dark.

Dream Battle: Esports Tournaments and Cosplay Showdowns

Competitive gaming takes centre stage at Dream Battle, where esports tournaments, live entertainment and community participation come together across the three-day event.

One of the highlights is the inaugural Red Bull Wings Cup EA Sports FC27, featuring top players from Singapore competing for the opportunity to represent the country at the Global Finals in Miami.

Fans can also catch tournament action featuring popular titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Kill Streak and Street Fighter.

Depending on the competition, participants will battle for cash prizes of up to S$10,000, in-game diamonds and an all-expenses-paid trip to Miami.

Cosplay enthusiasts will have another major attraction to look forward to with Cosplay Fight Club.

The competition will feature Hollywood action veteran Richard Cetrone and Japanese cosplay pioneer Nobuyuki Takahashi on its judging panel. Participants will bring iconic characters to life through choreographed fight sequences and dynamic stage performances.

The event will include an Open category and an invite-only All Star division, with prizes of up to S$2,500, special category awards and an all-expenses-paid trip to Korea available across the competition categories.

Dream Battle will also host Singapore’s qualifier for the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival Championship. The winning team will earn the opportunity to compete in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the Cosplayer Marketplace will provide a dedicated space for visitors to discover original artwork, meet independent creators and connect with fellow cosplay fans.

Dream Play: Arcade Fun, Shopping and Family Activities

Not everyone visits a gaming festival to compete, and Dream Play caters to casual gamers, families and pop culture enthusiasts looking for a more relaxed experience.

In partnership with Timezone, the zone will feature a large arcade setup with rhythm games such as Mai Mai and Taiko, alongside racing experiences including Initial D and Asphalt 9 VR.

Visitors can also enjoy carnival-style attractions such as Skee Ball and Break the Plate, making the zone suitable for groups of friends and families looking for activities they can enjoy together.

Shopping enthusiasts will want to check out the Loot Vault, where festival collectibles and exclusive merchandise will be available.

One of the featured collections is a collaboration with Projectslacksss, a local independent streetwear collective. The co-branded capsule collection will include hoodies, T-shirts, pants, tote bags, socks and caps.

Official G.O.D lifestyle merchandise will also be available, including custom desk mats, keycaps, keychains and DIY phone strap sets.

For visitors planning to attend R.E.M, festival essentials such as event T-shirts, Loop earplugs, folding fans and sunglasses will complete the shopping lineup.

With its combination of arcade games, retail experiences and community activities, Dream Play offers another reason for visitors to spend time exploring the festival beyond the competitive arena.
