Tex Cycle Technology (M) Berhad (“Tex Cycle”), a prominent waste management and recycling solutions provider, has announced a significant partnership that will enhance its capabilities in innovative waste management.
Through a new License Manufacture and Distribution Agreement, Tex Cycle’s subsidiary, Ground Control Sdn. Bhd., will collaborate with BiobiN Technologies Pty Ltd and Peats Group Limited (“Peats Group”) to bring cutting-edge BiobiN® systems to Malaysia.
Peats Group, with over 50 years of experience in organics recycling, is a leader in converting organic materials into high-quality products like compost, soil, and mulch. Their BiobiN® system is an advanced solution for managing organic and wet waste on-site, initiating the composting process immediately and effectively controlling odors.
This system is versatile and ideal for various industries, including food services and meat processing, helping to reduce landfill waste, lower waste collection costs, and minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
The agreement grants Ground Control the rights to manufacture and distribute BiobiN® systems in Malaysia. This initiative aligns with global environmental standards and aims to improve sustainable waste management practices in the region.
Mr. Gary Dass A/L Anthony Francis, Group Chief Executive Officer of Tex Cycle said,

We are immensely grateful for the exceptional support from local authorities and regulatory bodies, who have played a crucial role in facilitating this initiative. Their involvement has been pivotal, effectively making them integral members of our project team.”
Harbir Gill, Managing Director of Ground Control, highlighted the importance of effectively managing organic waste to achieve zero waste to landfill and create a truly circular economy. He noted that the collaboration with BiobiN® enables them to capture valuable organic resources, divert them from landfills, and integrate them into composting systems, adding significant value to their sustainability efforts and those of their clients.
Danny Mitroussidis, Manager of International Development at BiobiN Technologies, expressed excitement about formalizing the partnership with Ground Control and Tex Cycle. He emphasized that this collaboration will accelerate the improvement and performance of organic waste management, diverting it from landfills and transforming it into high-quality compost, mulches, and soil enhancers.
