In conjunction with vivo’s VISION+ Initiative, the smartphone brand is jointly launching a mobile photography competition with National Geographic known as the ‘vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards’.
The competition is part of vivo’s efforts to build a visual ecosystem and is open to smartphone users all over the globe.
To celebrate the launch of the competition, vivo Malaysia is inviting smartphone users in the country to take part in the global competition and showcase the beauty of everyday moments of life in Malaysia, and thereon stand the chance to win prizes worth more than USD 46,000 (approximately RM 190,000).
The competition is currently open for entry submissions and will close on 20 November 2020.
With vivo’s recent collaboration with British-Malaysian photographer and Pulitzer Centre 2018 Grantee Ian Teh, Malaysians can take inspiration from his journey as he captures the story of Malaysia using the vivo X50 Pro.
Ian’s journey, which is available on vivo Malaysia’s YouTube page, beautifully tells a story of the daily Malaysian life, coloured by the diversity of culture and the joys of small, everyday moments. Ian narrates his journey through the lens of the vivo X50 Pro to aptly depict his life as a photographer and photojournalist.
